A little later, breakfast has been cleared and cleaned, and Gwen also given a pass from school that day. She has her own texts from Chuck, from Pam, and even from Kristin to deal with - the first adorable, the second concerned for her friend, and the last a bit snarky, wondering if she'll be at practice later.

The sound of a car pulling around up to the front of the manor, not parking in the garage as usual. Danica's voice barks out, "Need a hand here." Loud enough to be heard inside.

And Gwen drops everything, grabs her spear, and goes outside

Gwen finds a patrol car pulled up front - Delorean has been delegated to handle a dog that is well wrapped up in a veritable cocoon of resistance bands and jump ropes, and Danica is trying to lift an Ogre who is clearly dazed and not quite there.

"Pooka," Dee explains "Ogre's legs aren't so hot"

Gladiola's jaw sets, she nods and helps Dancia with the heavier target "You got them. I heard you had"

It becomes clear that Danica is more manhandling then worrying about being gentle - she is not 'helping' the Ogre, so much as hauling him like an evidence sack. A 300lb evidence sack.

"I would have taken them to county lockup, but knew you'd want a chance at them. The mongrel especially." Danica nods to Gwen.

Silverwolf doesn't have a dungeon, per say. But they do have store rooms, mostly full of dusty boxes, or also a hanging game meat storage room that is outside and unheated, but well secured against animal incursion - Briar's territory.

"Where to, Knight?" Danica looks to Gwen. "If you ask, I'd say not to let this one-" A kick at the Ogre's good leg, "Into the manor proper, at least."

"Can the store room hold this bruiser?" She asks

"He'll fit. But if he gets his wind, he could go through the walls like cardboard."

"I got somesomething.... can you hold him on your own for another three minutes tops?"

"Yes, he doesn't know where he is. Axe to the head. Probably need to heal him at some point." She sounds disinclined to worry about it too much.

"I have just the sedative," She says. Time to put her education in chemicals and tranquilizors to work

A grunt and a flailed arm from the Ogre - Easily ducked by Danica who twists said arm behind his back - it wasn't aimed for her, but could easily have knocked out a smaller kithain. "Sounds good. His damn wrists are too big for my cuffs."

Gwen breaks into a run, and gets the tranquilzer that can put out a horse. Then comes back with it careful

Dee says "Willy might be able to make some kind of shackles stronger than than your cuffs?"

Danica angles the Ogre to where Gwen can jab a big fleshy part of her choice.

The Pooch whines piteously as the giant needles come out.

Gwen ignores the dog pooka, she has mixed feeling about that creature. And she injects the ogre where it will have the fastest effect.

Right in the rump. He doesn't seem to notice, but goes quickly from 'dazed' to 'dozing'

Danica grunts a little as he goes dead weight in her arms.

"Here." She tosses an evidence bag over to Gwen, and kneeling, manages to get the Ogre pulled up into a fireman's carry. "Show me where to drop this." Muscles bulging, but she manages it.

A nod to Dee on the comment about better cuffs, agreeing.

"Wish I had a kennel big enough to shove this bastard into..." Gwen says then a look at the pooka "For you? We might"

"Easily." Danica nods. "Put him in a small enough kennel, I warrant he can't change back - common sense won't let him if his body won't fit."

"Especially if you can spare a few hounds to keep eyes on him."

"Good point" Ivan is put to it

Ivan, never far from Gwen's side, is already near the pooch and showing his teeth, in a warning fashion.

Soon it's accomplished per the Knight's command. The dog pooka is ensconced in a snug kennel with Ivan and, it appears, Dote the Glennie, both of whom keep eyes on him.

The ogre is hauled to a store room, after Marigold's good holiday china is removed.

"uhm... " Blossom speaks up "Would you like me to have a cold weather hawk help? they can wait and stare like cats or beter"

And a Hawk, perched comfortably in the rafters of the Kennel, has an eye on the poor dog. "Good thinking, Blossom." Danica nods in approval.

Blossom preens

Gladiola hisses "Where's the damned Spriggan? he's the one I want most"

"Dead" Nadeen explains as she comes into view, "He tried to summon something he could not put down. It finished him." She moves smoothly, elegantly.

Danica straightens up and bows to the Baroness.

"We have an ogre and a pooka in lockup." She fills the Baroness in.

Gladiola bows as well as she proccesses that

"The ogres possessions are with Dame Gladiola. If the pooka has anything other than his collar, we'll need to wait and see what he has with him when he regains human shape." Danica adds.

The baroness looks impressed, "Excellent. But wha of the Ogre's stength? Can we contain it here?"

"Dame Delorean managed the capture." Danica gives credit where due. She glances back at the Satyr, but does not give any further specific details, nor does she mention Ace. It seems that she has decided that the police-style fraternity of backing up each others decisions also applies here, and it is up to Delorean to share, or withhold, whatever she feels necessary.

Danica nods slowly. "If we can get Willy to make some restraints, he should be able to be held. A dictum would not hurt, either. But, I'd want eyes on him, if we must have him inside the manor. Chances should not be taken with strength such as he possesses, with no Code to hold him to just use of it."

"The ogre is currently drugged," Gladiola adds, "though it is I believe the right dose, we'll want to treat him as if he could wake up soon. "

"I shall dictum him, and ward him into a room," She frowns "See to it Willy gets tto work rigght away, perhaps a harnas could be adapted to keep the ogre from using his strength to effect. Do not play games, if he breaks free, do not hesitate to take him down rather than risk our loyal subjects, including yourself, any more than nneed be." Nadeen turns tto Dee who is bowing "Dame Lavender, it seems you'll be getting a sizable reward."

"I would be lying if I said that didn't please me, Baroness" Dee says "I.. have plans for it" thinking of Ace

The Baroness looks about "Thane Linnae?"

"Can a dictum be built into a restraint? Create a treasure that will hold Ogres and prevent their use of their power." Danica gives a side glance to Nadeen... perhaps she's heard of other such devices that existed.

Danica speaks up. "She is escorting the Smyths home, and will check that the premises is secure. Baroness - Thistle and Gladiola also had a hand in apprehending the Spriggan. They should be rewarded as well."
