"I know a place with venison jerky for Briar. Not elk, but close?"

"Isn't that a little off-color for the holiday? Then again, perhaps that's why she likes it." Art considers.

"Yeah, I think she does. She'll probably torment Blossom with it, too."

"Art? What are you wearinng?" Gwen asks

"Art's got a job. Hi Gwen."

"Hey" A smile "Congrats, Art. Hi, Trina. Place is nuts huh? In a good way"

"It's not bad. Decent artists, not mass-market drek."

"Yeah, the glass section is rocking this year" She admits "About bank rupted me, but good stuff"

"She's something, yeah..."

"I think I got something for almost everyonne set up" She says "Even got a big old bone for Ivan"

For a dog Ivan's size, it must be huge

"Of course you got dog presents." A laugh.

A light blush "Well yeah. Ivan's the best boy" Stubborn Chin

"I think I'm mostly good with treats for Yule, but I'd like to find a toy for Wain if I can." Art comments. "Probably not soap, or glass."

"Or a bone." He gives Gwen a smile.

Gwen chuckles at that "Yeah. How old is he again?"

"Ha. Yeah, he's got his teeth."

"Four... five? Perhaps? Well past weaning and crawling years, teeth yes, but he does not have all his letters yet to read. Perhaps a picture book."

"He might like legos or log cabins, big blocks?"

"There was a toymaker - wooden cars and swords and stuff..."

Gwen says "How's Frankie?"

"He's good!"

She looks about for the boy

He's hand in hand with his parents, chattering with them as they walk back towards the parking lot.

A nod, then she whispers "Sorry, Spriggans steal kids as well as puppies"

Art startles. "It wouldn't go after our brothers. That would be..." He shakes his head. "A deathwish?"

"...What?"

She had clearly never considered the potential threat to Frankie, and seems to be processing the idea.

"Sorry, I'm not trying to dim your fun or worry folks. " She realizes maybe she shouldn't have said anything

Art is watching Katrina's family leave with a concerned look.

"Would they - I mean, he's just a normal kid?"

"Unless Frankie harbors a Nocker soul as well?" He wonders aloud.

"I shouldn't have said anything. " She winces thenn says "There's a big bounty on the guy. If he's smart, he's in Indiana or something by now"

"I noticed. It was tempting." Art admits.

"I don't know how to tell if he does. Though Janice... she.."

"The Nevers like her."

"Janice?" Art asks, dubiously.

"The one who put spices on the roast turkey?"

"Janice"

"Well, they are not very bright. One got stuck in the mailbox yesterday..."

"Yeah, Roch put a stamp on one"

"I dunno what it is." A snort and a nod. "Also true."

A never FLASHES bright in Art's face in disdain. CHIME!

He winces and covers his eyes. "Yes, very shiny! I apologize."

In the corner, a couple ..boy friend and girlfriend, apparently decided to donate to charity. The boyfriend has paid a dollar not just for himself, but his girlfriend. He got a peck on the cheek, fussed that Lavender should do more with his girlfriend annd prepared to enjoy the show. his girlfriend was unsure but, a bit bullied, agreed. Lavender arched a brow, laid one on her, and ... well, it kept going. At first, the boyfriend was pleased, evenn turnned on, but as it continued, it became obvious his girlfriend was getting a lot more turned on from Lavender than ever did him. He starts to get alarmed

"C'mon, Art. Let's look at the toys while you still have break." She grabs his hand to tug him over that way.
