Nadeen walks on down, then if she sees Thistle, smiles "Thistle, hello. How goes?"

"OH! Baroness! Hi!" She fumbles, hiding something behind her back.

Nadeen raises a brow, "ok. I'm no Eiluned, but you've got me curious. What's behind your back?"

Her spirals shift through a few different colors.

"Just.. nothing important... "

"This is where I would say: If its not important, why not let me see it. But if it's private, I shan't press"

"Briar ate one of Marigold's pots."

"She did? I hadn't heard, " A frown "I best see how Marigold takes that. Alas, redcaps do think with their mouths at times. Always hungry"

"I guess?"

"So. Um."

"So.." Curious

"I thought that maybe I could just see if the kiln worked..."

"Which it could use some tinkering, for th'furkin' record, it takes its dear sweet time coming to temp..."

"Anyhow, it's not.. it's just a test piece... but it's functional?"

"Since her other pot was eaten."

"You made a pot for Marigold? Why Thistle, that is incredibly kind!" She approves, "Mmm glad to hear the Kiln worked. Sorry about it taking it's sweet time to come to temp though. I am afraid I don't know much about Kilns beyond some basics"

Indeed, Nadeen seems very pleased over all, "May I see it, or is it meant for Marigold's eyes first?"

Mumble-mutter-shrug.

But she shows it.

"It's... lovely"

She seems stunned by it

The pot is brilliantly glazed - on one side is a bright yellow sun, and the other has a silvery-grey wolf.. dog?.. wolf?

"Thistle, I can assure you, Marigold will love this."

The flowers, if one looks... there are an abundance of cheery orange marigolds, spires of gladiolus, bunches of lavender, sprays of bluebells.. and the roses have especially thorny stems.

...and there's a little goat on the side, whose curved horns form into the handles!

"Why Thistle, you really do understand us,"

"It's just a test piece..." Defensively.

"I think it passed the test," She says, "Certainly for beauty. "

"Had to make sure it could glaze fire too, is all..."

The sidhe steps back, tilting her head

"mm yes., of course. Practical that"

Oh... another almost-hidden detail... under a leaf is a bear-cub. And there, by one of the marigolds, is a little thistle!

"Yeah. So. It's not... y'know..."

She runs her fingers along the thistle "Oh yes, and yet, it remains beautiful"

"It's messed up."

"Sometimes" She says "So are we."

There ARE flaws - small asymmetries, and one of the marigolds has a BLUE petal mixed in with the orange and gold.

"I love Silverwolf. It's part of me, now in more ways than one, but it is not, nor has it ever been, a perfect hold. In that, a few 'messes' actually fit us better than most things could. It is still beautiful, perhaps all the more for them. I think you've done very well, and I know Marigold would love it. But if you doubt me, ask her, see."

Thistle scuffs her toe and nods.

She runs fingers over the item, then looks at Thistle, "If you make more pieces, let me know , please? I'd like to see them as well"

"There were some other test pots..."

"This one's just the least bad."

A sharp pinch at one of Thistle's ears!

A squeaky little never zips in front of her face, and shakes a diminutive finger at her! Chime! - Chime-chime CHIME!

"It would appear the Never Court disagrees with your verdict," Nadeen asserts, "Thistle, I don't expect perfection. I don't even want it most times. It gets dull. It's like a repeating pattern over and over. If you were Varich you'd understand. But I can tell you I am impressed with this beautiful thing, and would like to see more of your work when you're ready. I am even more impressed with how brave you are for making this. You may not understand that either, yet, but you wil. This is a fine piece. Show it to Marigold"

"Hey! Hey.. I.. I didn't smash this one!"

The never dives down into the pot, and it's tinkling voice is muted and echoey. A laugh, apparently this is VERY amusing, and the never has already forgotten whatever it did a moment before.

"Well don't smash it now either. There's a never in it" Deadpan

"That there is." She softens, mouth tugging into a lopsided smile.

A chuckle throaty and sincere escapes the Winter housed lady "Getting the never out is Marigold's problem, I'd say."
