"I did" she admits "But I figure you're smart and may notice shit I miss"

"I'm glad you're not all, stick-up-your-butt dignity now that you're so hoighty-toity Dairy-queen Knight."

"Actually, it's not the hoity toity stuff that worries me" She admits "House Dairean is.. badass, but DARK. Like, they have honor, but it's not like a typical seelie code, more like you insulted my name, prepare to get ass kicked. And they're VENGEFUL... like forget 'an eye for an eye' it's more like "You took my eye? I will blind both of yours and use a hot brand to burn an unseeing third eye into your forehead as warning to others you fucked with me."

"Sounds like a seelie that actually might be worth knowing." She admits.

"Well, uhm" A blush "it's actually an Unseelie house.. kind of.. mostly. They have a thing for personal honor, revenge, and hospitality"

"GOOD. You SAID seelie and I thought maybe you had a SWORD up your butt." Clearly, house studies have been taken lightly in her homework. "Revenge is sweet as heck."

"Or a spear." Snickering.

"Well, I'm seelie, and I'm in this House I barely know. I gotta prresent myself and undergo some weird test.. a Fior"

"They're gonna set you on fire? Are they allowed to do that?" Frown.

"FIor. .it's a celtic thing.. if I read the book right at Earth Runnes I have to keep fighting until I defeat all comers or at least last as a livinng target forr what could be days." A bit worried

A snort and she settles back down, picking up her oiling cloth again. "Big deal. You lasted at Pennons against DIRK. These elves ain't got nothin' on him, House or no House."

"Speakin' of... Pennons, right? We're going?"

"Damn straight we are. I can take trods now"

"I want in on the melee." She blurts out. "I know it's s'posed to be wilders, but I can HOLD MY OWN. They let you chop and beat and slice the snozz out of each other and no one gets in trouble because you're all healed at the end... and I want in!"

"Oh," Sympathy "Briar I think you're a bad ass, but I"m pretty sure they're going to stick to the Childlings only face childlings rule"

"But they don't even let us use live weapons!" Perilously close to a whine.

"Maybe there's a kid redcap there, and you can show him or her who really is boss?"

A sigh. "I guess, but I really want to try my claws out on someone. There's always some troll there guarding whoever's littler and last year they got ganked by a pooka that hid behind them then poked 'em in the kidney with their wooden dagger."

"Well, sometimes ttthe wilders are stuck with practice weapons too., but we'lll at least go" A reminder "Now, you excuse me, I have to handle a super secret mission that might get me in trouble" She rises from her seat

"Don't forget my blood sauce!" A wave, practically cheerful.

"Blood Sauce for the blood goddess, check" She's still not sure why she LIKES Briar so much. Maybe for the same reason some folks find Wolverine cubs.. or is it kits? Cute.

Annd she goes to the work shop
