And the horse trailer pulled by the pick up may not seem unusual to mortal eyes, but the steam punk aspects that most mortals cannot see shine.

Willy regards it warily.

Odd satilite dish... nocker work, but with the way it spikes around now and then, it's not picking up HBO.

It swivels a lot towards the stable area, then rotates again

Willy thinks; has she seen any memo or something about a pick up or delivery?

It seems to be OFF the grounds.. barely. And no, no she hasn't. Something smells fishy here

The nocker looks around for Dolph or someone, while trying to keep the trailer in view.

She doesn't see Dolph but she hears something, a light 'whup whup buzz'.

Something just shot out of the trailer window, flying low. A chimerical drone

"Aw hell no." Willy goes to the big house for help.

She finds... Thane Linnea, looking stern, standing guard. When told of the issue, she frowns grimly, but shakes her head. "Can't help. My orders are to stay here." Firmly planted in front of a hallway door that leads to... storage, she thinks? Not someplace Willy has explored.

Linnea looks frustrated. A glance back at the door behind her... and she rumbles to Willy... "See if you can find Dame D'Lorean."

Gwen is likely at school? Briar is off.. slaughtering livestock or whatever it is that little monster does these days... Marigold runs errands midday when the stores are less crowded.

"Where is she? I mean, where would she usually be?"

D'Lorean might be near the stables, or riding, she loves that horse

Willy hustles in that direction.

Sure enough, the satyress is giving snowthorn a good brush

Behind her, behind the closed door and the guard, something tickles Willy's awareness... glamour flowing. But then Willy is gone... and off finding the Knight.

A glance behind, but.... no, they need help.

Stroke brush the mane, lustrous

Snowthorn tosses his mane as the Nocker approaches. Showing off, or alerting His Rider? Maybe both?

"Hey! DeLorean, right?" Since the satyr doesn't use horseshoes on her hooves, Willy's interest is limited.

She turns "Yeah Willy, we've only met like five times . I sang a song about you at least once."

"Yeah, yeah, we got a problem, come on." Willy leads the way back out, and describes the situtation she's seen.

Snowthorn is mounted smoothly and the knight follows "Wait, a what is flying out of the what?" A lance and she looks about "Tell me if you see it"

"Sure. Some kinda remote control flying drone, it came out of a horse trailer that I'd bet got fixed up by a nocker or a Dougal or maybe both. They are looking for something. Hunting.

"

"Oooh... fun" A grin and she lowers her lance, "Dagmar did this to a thunderbird. Willy, you want to help?"

"Dag-who?Help with what?"

"You be my bird dog, help me find the drone, give the signal so I can line up and joust with it"

"It'll be a small target. Good practice" Eager grin!

Willy grumbles about being a 'bird dog' but casts about for the drone.

And she spots it againn, definitely checkinnng out the horses mostly but moving on quickly. It's not too high up, possibly so it can see 'under' the cover

"There! Shit, is that thing spying on the horses? Hey, if you take it out is that gonna alert the trailer guys?"

"Point.." She says "Okay, Willy, what do you sugggest?"

"If you figure whoever's in the trailer is controling the drone, you need to take them out. Drone's nothing without them."

Nickering and soft whinnies from within the stables... some of the horses are getting nervous by the unfamiliar sounds outside, and the buzzing strange bird-thing....

"Right, Lance the trailer. Willy, the Drone is yours" And off she races leavingg willy to deal with the drone!

".... the hell, Goat??" Willy snorts and heads into the stables (if that is where the drone got to).

There is a covered stall with a lock on it, completely enclosed. The wood looks fresh - in fact, Willy vaguely remembers hammering just a day or two ago. It was annoying, distracting from the rhythm of her OWN working.

The drone hovers nnear that stall

Willy looks around for what is at hand; a broom? 2x4?

A pitchfork! After all, hay.

Let's see... a broom, a bucket for water, the shovel for mucking out stalls, a decidedly UNCLEAN bucket for that task as well - it's been rinsed, but STILL....

Harnesses and lead ropes hanging neatly on a wall of tack.

Shovel or broom then, something she can swat with.

She picks the tool up and creeps up behind the drone, weapon at the ready.

The shovel is hefty, steel and good quality, with a tapered edge to scrape the floors clean.

Willy sneaks up and slaps the drone out of the air to the ground! Or tries....

Up and down, side to side the electronic flying creation moves, as it tries to find a way in, or perhaps taking video or pictures of the layout... and so, it is blindsided by WILLY as she gives it a good WHACK.
