"I'd love to meet one. I've only heard rumors. Brightwinds has a herd of them, they say..."

"Three.." A sigh at mention of Brightwinds so close "Apparenly a true family"

"of course, for one in your calling, you are most blessed to have a Kubera in the land. If we could befriend her, your stables and kennels would thrive even more"

"The entire family... da'an blessed." He remarks. Looking up, he notices that the sun has moved quite a bit. "I was hoping that Miss Dru would visit again. I must do more looking into kubera lore... though, I suppose, one could just ask." A bit amused at his own presumption there. "Shall we head back, the horses will want their supper soon."

Nadeen's mare nickers at the sound of that!

"Oh I'm so sorry, dear" She turns to head back after apologizing to her mare. "And you do not know of the Kubera's greatest gift? oh.. With their ties to fertility, the Kuberas are able to increase the productivity or fertility of any endeavor: childbearing, farming, business dividends, etc, as long as they are not the recipient. This can turn a poor beginning in the stock market into wealth, marginal earth into a fertile gardens... or a fine line from lack luster stock"

"I am afraid that inanimae have never been my area of study." he admits. "Other than learning the basics... but clearly I must branch out. Perhaps... one should hope that such a being may grant their gifts to the new centaurs, that they may prosper and breed true. That is, not to be crass. Clearly they are not creatures to be 'bred', I simply mean... in their own time, that is. That their own foals - er, childlings, may be similarly gifted."

He suggests... only to have to have a cloud then fall over his visage.

"Of course one can hope" She says " iwould not be surprised. I meant however that your mares might stay fertile beyond their normal span, your stallions stud beyond their usual time and so on.. and perhaps fine sized litters for the pups. Dru would be of great use here"

She notes the look "Ah.. were you thinking of Connor?"

He inhales, closing his eyes for a moment. "The will of the dreaming is mighty.... but fickle. To play with Fate... it a fire that can as easily warm as burn. I do not wish to discuss it." A moment passes, and he softens the cool tone with, "Please."

"Of course" She puts her hand on his wrist "I am sorry if I brought you pain. I.. it was the look on your face, it seems to come when you think of him. I will not press further. " As they dismount near the stables, she says "I will focus on apprentice options for Marigold ..something we all, save her, agree on. Can you tell me of the Chaterbox?"

He takes the reins and leads both horses in, where Dolph takes them, promising a nice supper of oats for both.

"Chatterbox?" Aiden draws a blank, but the hostler looks up at Nadeen. "Aye, Lady? That's a restaurant down in the township proper. Last I heard, had a redcap for a chef. Who'd have thunk such a thing, but I promise, my little birds don't lie." A chuckle, after all, boggans are masters of gossip.

"thank you, Dolph" She says "She's done well for both, perhaps a bit of carrot on top of the oats? "

Ears perk, and the stallion snorts as well. Aiden can't help a laugh. "For both then."

A blush then to Dolph "Thank you again, for the news too. I'm on a rather exacting search"

He bows to the Baroness. "Let me know if I can help, Lady. Believe it or not, I clean up a bit and I can do rounds of town as well as any wilder." A wink.

"Actually, I might just hit you up for a list of who else is who" she says to Dolph "We need to find some assistance for such a fine lady as myself.. and if she just HAPPENS to take some of the work of Marigold while Marigold teaches her... or him... well, who am I to protest?"

The Boggan nods, and tips his hat. "Will do, m'lady."

"Thanks" She looks to the Baron "Speaking of meals?" A smile

He smiles back, and takes her arm with a bow. "Yes, let's."
