A sip of her own coffee

Willy looks around the kitchen for a moment.... it seems abandoned by the usual overseers. She sets down her mug and starts rummaging in the cupboards and other likely looking spaces for food.

She gets some gloves on while they talk.

Willy has found enough stuff to put together a dagwood.

Which she does, then eats it.

For herself, the troll got a yogurt package

Willy must need the energy; no little yogurt for her.

"I wonder where Marygold is? " She says "Oh, she might be with our new guest."

"Marigold... she's the key-holder, right? I mean, she's in charge of the household stuff?"

"Well, the Baron rules, then theres Dame Calanthe as chancellior, then there's Julus as Steward.. and then there's Marigold who does most of the cooking and..well she's wonderful. Yes, she's usually in the kitchen"

"Ya want my two cents, those first three are there to make her job easier, and her job is to keep all of -us- going. 'Least, you know, the essential workers you could say."

"Well, Marigold is essential I'll agree with that"

"Helps to have her handling the food." Willy agrees.

"Yeah. I have to wear gloves. Sometimes my skin kind of ..flakes? More like dusts"

"What's the deal there?" Willy chews.

"Apparently it happens in some now and then, like wings. lucky me, I get stone skin."

"Sounds more like chalk, if it rubs off. Is it good for anything?"

"Yeah, like having a chain shirt on all over. I can take a hit... and spearpoints have been turned, that kind of thing"

Willy nods approvingly. "Ok, that..... sounds useful."

"Sure.. if you want to test it, I'll let you take a hammer to it later. Got to learn my limits. "

"Yeah. Maybe."

"But with ocnditions.. the others might get the wrong idea if you ambush me from behind with a sledge" Wry

and she starts to clean up now that they've eatten "Let's go see Tibs"

And she leads her to where the Eshu should be
