A snerk. "Sorry, that's just formal slang. Born human, versus born crows. By the way, you can always trust a Raven to be what we look like, not like that poor wolf back there." A sigh, and she shrugs, as though fluffing invisible wings. "We can't be possessed by Banes or Fomori. Poor guy. He might have been a nice enough fellow, once. But he was just a hollow shell for that weaver-demon by the time you got there. A quick death was the best gift."

"But I agree, I like who I like. And I like you, you're shiny." A grin. "Even without the armor."

A blush "Thanks " Pleased "I like your hair. "

A hand goes up and passes through her hair, a pleased preening gesture. "Do you like it more than my feathers?"

"Actually both are nice, but I'd have to stroke both to see the feel test"

She flops over, resting her head on Dee's lap with a cheeky grin. "You may preen me if you wish."

A throaty laugh, but she does preen her, and her fingers are skilled

"I'm not just nosy, you know. Our laws - the laws of the Raven people, order us to seek out all secrets. And not to keep them, either. Information needs to be shared, not secreted away where it just dwindles and is lost. We have to learn, and listen, and teach." A pause, making a happy sound at the pleasing feeling of her fingers. "But don't worry. We respect the Veil - we're not stupid. Mortals, sadly, have to stay eye-blind and wingless. Not that the veil works on you fair folk. A bit of unfairness there, if I say so myself, but I'll not gripe too much."

"You guys are like old school hackers? " Impressed "We have an escheat, both courts follow it..and there's a Right of Ignorance where we keep our secrets but it's mostly for the Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve.. the mortals."

"Same for us. Mortals that find out about us either disbelieve, go crazy, or turn into hunters." And she grins a bit. "I dabble a bit online. It's fun seeing what trouble you can get into behind a screen where no one can get to you."

"Oh we satyrs can get a party going, actually lowers the banality of mortals..that's.. rigidness, I guess, non belief.. banlaity is nasty stuff"

She ponders this. "Interesting. I think the root word is a coincidence, but this Banality and Banes are both a pain. Wolves tend to get stuck in their ways. We - Ravens - try to remind them to keep learning, but it's a battle sometimes. The old ways are best - ha, sure, try telling that to the other changers and see what they have to say about that - if you could even find one still. I agree with you. You gotta keep learning and fly, or you'll get bogged down."

"I'd like to see a party like that sometime." A hopeful grin.

"I think we might be able to arrange one" She says "Now, dinner. Where do you want to go and stuff? I like the view here" A look at her eyes "But I'm getting cold still despite your efforts"

A shiver. "Sun's going down. He stays a little longer every day, but still, not as nice as summer." She folds up her blanket and tucks it into a small backpack - and in goes the thermos, and the snacks as well. It doesn't look like it will all fit, but the bag doesn't even bulge any fuller when she's done.

"I'm afraid I spent all the sunlight talking. I'll tend to do that if no one stops me." Apologetic. "Maybe we can get takeout another time, and eat while the sun still shines? I think indoors is still off-limits, unless the rules changed around here. And I'm guessing you won't invite a wild bird home with you... yet. But maybe a second date?" Her eyes gleam, hoping for the future.

"I... think I'd like that. And I'll talk to the Baron. He's a good sort, proud, but good."

"Baron." She repeats, eyes gleaming. "It's all Medieval timesy. Do I need to study my thees and thous? But lunch in the sunshine, even in winter, is quite nice as well. With good company."

"It is." A grin.. and another stroke of her hair "And nay, thou need not speakest in the ald tongue."

She reaches over and grooms a bit of hair behind one of Dee's ears, not seeing the horn that it falls behind. "I'll practice, just in case." A wink. "Now, don't forget to take that with you. It's probably worth a pretty penny. And lest you think I'm trying to bribe you, Raven tells us not to hoard wealth OR secrets, because it will weigh us down. So it's yours now, yours and Sam's. Just remember - no cages!" A grin.

Nudging the clinking sack of bashed up metal bits with a foot.

"No cages" She promises "I'll tell Sam no cages" A kiss on the Corax's nose and grabbing the bag, she drops down to the ground a ittha flourish

She waves from the rooftop, silhouetted by the setting sun. And then, true to her word, flies off in Raven form - not following Dee. A warm place to perch for the night, or maybe a motel!
