And Thistle has probably picked up any "loose" chimera in her wake.

Indeed, Thistle is a problem. Many of the chimera strain to get a look at her from their pens and displays.

The boggan gentleman huffs "See here boy, I know a fine colt when I see one, here's a bit of apple for you..."

A shriek, and an Event Security Troll bustles him away, scolding, "It was just a finger tip, stop your bellyaching. We'll have it healed up in a trice, that's why there was a LINE on the floor..."

Thistle is laughing harder about the poor boggan.

Art just shakes his head with a tut.

"Oh, I wanted to check on something... back in a jiffy."

"Ah, Thistle?" Gwen says alarmed. "I think you picked up a She-Lobe chimera."

Thistle may find she's got a small chimera trying to settle in that would make a sluagh happy

"I.. wha?" She touches her neck. "What th' Moultin' Mordor Madness is this (*^%$ing shinola?"

It crawls about, She-Lobe chimera, unlike their name sake, are pretty peaceful, they just like securing shelters near ears.

Alas, not everyone appreciates this

"Want me to grab it?" Gwen offers as the spider moves along Thistle's hand and back near her lobe.

"Yesssssssssss." She hisses.

Gwen reaches for it, and ...

grabs it relatively gently. the spider threatens to bite, but Gwen's stone skin protects her. "There, it's off."

A gusty sigh of relief.

"I wonder if Lizbet would like this little thing?" Gwen mutters.

She tilts her head. "Little weirdo probably would."

Then she sees it . Thistle sees a winged pony , golden wings and golden fur.

Just what Gwen was looking for. But nocker sense is tingling

"Ope!"

"Hey, good eye," She says.

"Rockster, hey." Nudge, point.

"I see it," She nods "looks like it fits thedescription."

She squints at the chimera, nose scrunching up.

The colt IS a chimera, but... that's chimerical powder coloring it gold, and the wings? those are MECHANICAL.. oh meant to look organic, but the positioning, the way the feathers have a limited pattern.

Someone has put fake mechanical wings on a chimera.

The squint twists into a scowl. "Oh, what th'Chat GPT is that nonsense?"

"What?" Gwen is not so versed, "what's up? It looks like the right color, it's a horse, it has wings."

"Bullshit wings."

"Though. I mean, the mechanism might be cool, but they sure ain't grown."

Gwen kens HARDER and it takes a bit but "Son of a... you know, if you hadn't said it, I wouldn't have seen it. Good eye, DiVinci."

"Furkin' scam, you ask me."

"Like, you COULD stand by your work - sell wing-kits for chimerical steeds, yeah?"

"Well, they're going to be trying to sell that animal soon," She states "You think we should inform folks?"

She points at the horse, twirling her finger in a little circle of condemnation. "That's drek."

"If some na'ar is fool enough to buy it without lookin' at it..."

Heads turn, an some muttering starts among the crowd. Now there are not may nockers here, but there's always one who is dragged along with a pooka friend and he says "She's right, what the furk?"

"Right? That's what I said!" She nods at her kithmate.

A troll glares and Gwen realizes it is isn't her. "Here now, what's going on?"

and then things get hectic as the auctioneer tries to calm folks why they find the seller...
