Dagmar may not at first understand the text from Lavender aka Dee

TXT: Hey, at the clearing in Bergen, where the hell are you?

TXT: Home, I can get there?

TXT: JOUST CLUB!

Oh shit. Joust Club was on her schedule this month but... with all that's gone on

Well, it's understandable it would slip Dagmar's mind

She swears.

TXT: Sorry! OMW!

TXT: ARGH...

TXT: I'll forgive you later, of course. I'm wired that way

When Dagmar shows up, she sees that some jousting is already under way. Dame Tiara the Centauress is tilting with a sidhe she doesn't know, and Dee waves to her

Dagmar clearly readied in haste, but she is in her gear and Star is saddled. The mare has high steps and happy ears.

"Hey, what's with the bird?" Dee being a satyress is not always subtle

The Heartbird makes a contented little croak.

"Ah. It's a chimera."

"I KNOW it's a chimera," Dee grins "My horns aren't wound up THAT tight. Just... curious why you've got it. If you think it'll help you win in a joust, I have to warn you I've got some killer moves"

Tiara calls out "You two going to joust or blather?" A smile though

"No. It's a friend. Just born." She encourages it to flutter to a nearby tree.

It does, but seems a bit cranky about it, as if it was just stired from a most comfortable place.

"Keep your hooves on, Dame Tiara," D'Lorean calls to the centuar

"Aw, no glare. Look, there's a whole buncha foliage there, so you can totally skulk and hide."

It settles into the foilage and watches from... the shadows

"Grab a lance, get your blue butt up and winner two out of three buys the other a Dr. Pepper?" Dee asks "And either way you tell me the story behind that, fair?"

"Sure, sure." She's up in the saddle and lance settled in a jiffy.

Dee has been practicing jousting and horse riding, while Dagmar has spent time throwing shotputs, and studying, and clurichaun foiling!

All of this is true, yes. But Dame Dagmar is still Dame Dagmar, trained by Chieftain Brekke herself.

And while the first round goes to Dee, it's only by a little... "Bit rusty there?" Dee grins "I've seen you do better."

ANd so, Dagmar shakes the 'rust' off. And on the second pass she (Fill in your blank for fun G)

She gives Dee a solid whack mid-chest, breaking the lance and reminding the satyress not to get cocky.

"Yay verily, I say ow" Dee groans a bit after that one, "THERE you are, Hammerstrike, good to have you back"

The third match goes to Hammerstrike as well, as Dagmar feels really on her game and... oh, it's almost as if having that bird nearby makes it feel like some part of Symon IS watching, and quietly cheering her on!

"Always nice to have some Joust Club."

"I admit, tis fun" Says the Sidhe "And, an honor to meet you, Dame Hammerstrike"

""Feels like old times" Dee says "And i Owe you a dr. Pepper AND an introduction. " She gestures to the sidhe "This is Dame Aelfwynn"

"You have one up on me." She extends her hand. "Dagmar."

Hands are shaken, and Aelfwynn smiles as she's introduced, "Like Tiara, I spend most of my time at Caer Falken. Like you, I'm a Gwydion. Shh, don't tell Lavender's boss. A Gwydion SIdhe might be too much for a silver dragon to bear"

She seems to have a sense of humor, by Gwyd standards

"He's not that bad," Hurmph from the satyr

Dame Tiara, herself a Gwydion affiliate says "We probably Do need more associated with other houses to drop by. Poor Lavender is the only Ailil affiliate"

She grunts, thoughtfully.

"There's some Scathach and Liam at Paramus."

"We should invite them" Dee agrees, "I mean, Liam have a bad rep and most Scathach are anti monarchist, but... hey, wide net right?"

"Baroness Shacklebreaker jousts with a Scathach peer, and if she can do it, then how can I not follow her example?" Aelfwynn considers. "And Gwydion protects Liam, they ARE still sidhe, well, the sidhe of the house are"

"Agreed, but, let's keep jousting shall we ladies? " Dame Tiara says "This time I'll try my hand against Dame Dagmar. She's not able to remove ME from the saddle as I don't wear one." The centaur says

"Careful, strong as she is, I wouldn't put it past her ablity" Lavender jokes.

"I would rather not unseat the centaur. Sounds messy."

"And I am grateful" A smile from said centauress.

"Say, what IS with the bird?" Dee whispers to Dagmar "You feel.. different. Not in a bad way"

The troll just grins.
