A grunt and groan as Siv removes the apron she used to create a big shirt to cover her bandaged body. Of course under that is a shrit too, this one provided by Teaneck. She is bruised all over, save where there are scars

A tap at her door.

the door opens just a notch, then seeing it's not her squire, Siv looks relieved "Hey, da. Come in afore Kassedy sees"

OOC Her state of undress?

She has a sleeveless short shirt and shorts

and lots of bandages

Frank enters and shuts the door softly. "What happened?"

"It was a mission for Bergen, under the spymaster. " She says "I got the objective, but took quite the beating for it. I didn't want to trouble anyone here so I went to teaneck for healing. Didn't know Kassedy would be back so soon so when I got the call I defied a few orders and slpped here. She's my SQUIRE. Wounded or no, I had to be here for her firebrand return."

Frank considers this, nods. "Need anything?"

"time to heal. The Baron will chew me out later for not sticking about to report. He's got the file though and can read it. i'll take my lumps like a big girl. I always do" a smile "Guess I'm a bit of a maverick like my father can be"

"Mm." it might be he disagrees with that latter part of her assessment in some way; he nods again "I'll let your mother know; rest up here if you want to avoid people."

"Well, fine. You're not a maverick but I've got to find SOMEONE to blame this contrary streak on other wise I have to face personal liablity, and what wilder wants that?"

Then she says "i think Kassedy will be distracted enough I can rest a bit. So good idea. I'm sorry. I .. may miss a patrol tonight"

Frank grunts again "I'll take it."

"Sorry, da."

"No need to apologize."

"Well, you're doing my work, kind of feelslike i should apologize. ' a consideration "I'll take up one of your s hifts one night so you and mother can have a couple's night out"

Frank's beard moves "That's a kind offer, Siv."

"Well, repay all debts and love conquers all, two for one" A smile and she gets to the bed as if she were feeling very tender, which she is

Frank nods, and reaches back for the door "I'll let you rest. If you need anything just.... well, I guess you could text me on the cell phone. I can turn the ringer up."

a smile at that "Thank you, da. Love you. Tell mom I'll be fine and not to worry"

"I will, but she will anyway." and Frank slips out.

Siv grunts ("Moms gotta mom") fondly and she lays down as the door closes. Hurting ALL over.
