What does she notice about them?

Hair color, eye color (Black, Blue)/(Red , Green), and House colors.. one wears a black and burgandy and gold (Balor?) the other Green and Gold, which could be either Gwydion or Leanhaun. Man and woman, one a grump, the other a older wilder

She tries to keep a neutral expression until they're gone.

And they are QUITE tight lipped, those two sidhe

As they depart, Kerri's eyes go wide. "I think...I have a theory," she whispers.

they seemed both disdainful yet cautious... and then they're gone

"Yeah?" Olgar says

She leans in closer. "I think the chefs might be what's being auctioned," she says, her whisper even quieter now.

That surprises him, then he thinks about it, really "Crete's not exactly heavily protected from kidnapping is it? Not when you ccan cover with Chicanery and more"

She nods. "And they're inspired, talented individuals. Ripe to be drained."

"One time drain seems a bit rash and wasteful even for regular ravagers..I mean, these are the creme dela whatzit of the cooking worlds right?"

Speaking of which, the food is brought to them

"Yes, but...Oh!" she smiles as the food arrives and leans back from the whispered conversation. "Oh that looks amazing."

"Please, bon appetite" the hostess smiles "As you can see, one has a choice of savory..." She goes into culinary lingo that has Olgar lost, but Kerri grasps easily

She listens attentively and appreciatively so that she can provide the plain-language version to Olgar after the server leaves.

And soon the server does

Olgar says "I thought I was smart, despite my blue collar ways but I feel like I'm setting the time on an 80s VCR"

"It's just lingo, like knowing the stats on a sports team or the parts of a motorcycle. Here..." she gives him a rundown of what's what with the snail dish.

"mmm" He nods "So do we just toss this in finger food or scoop with silverware or?"

Kerri, being much more fluent in such foods than her player is, demonstrates the best approach. As she does, she murmurs quietly, "You might be right. So it might be more of a long-term ownership thing."

A munch "Makes sense" Soft mutter back "Slavery via enchantment is something even seelie holds do from time to time. Heck, imagine if Sally Mae didn't have our protection or her family? And she's not even top tier... not yet"

A frown, protective of the kinain in the face of even an imagined threat. "We need to break this up now -- first, to keep them from hurting the current chefs, and second, to keep them from interfering with up-and-coming talents like her."

She eats, preoccupied...but the food is SO good it does distract her a bit from the problem at hand.

"THen maybe you need to meet the chef" A munch
