A frown at that last image. Then she nods to Sybil to do what she needs to do to complete the task.

Alchohal rethins, and it is washed and scrubbed before Brekke's eyes, not a spot left, not a trace. the woman does look pale "I feel as if I miss much of what I needed to read the signs, but I hope you could make more of it?"

"Please sit, Sybil. Jordan, your grandmother should have some water, perhaps something stronger."

"We got some juice"

To answer the question, she says, "In truth, I know some more than I did, but much is still unclear. The Deeper Dreaming is difficult for us to see, as well."

"I know your dreaming like a duck too afraid to dive knows the pond. I can see so far in it, but that's all and likely to be a bit to the left of what I imagine" A smile

"So...a willworker is in the Dreaming, and is protecting him. There is irony there."

"Mayhaps a debt was due him ? Or a friend was made" She says "THough obviously I don't know the irony of it"

"I didn't know this Adam guy Grandma" He gets juice for her

"I would not expect him to befriend a willworker," she says simply.

"But he has been away long. Much may have happened."

"I had heard time worked differently in the dreaming" the old woman says

"It's complicated" Says the young rover trained centaur

She nods. "True. It has been a year for us. It may have been a day for him, or a decade."

"Extended time in the Dreaming can change a person. It can change them a great deal."

After a moment she says, "Sybil, I thank you. And I appreciate that you are sensitive to the needs of my people."

"If the great war of asscension is won by my side, your kind will thrive again. We do not do this to aid you specically, but because of the nature of Verbena magic. I would aks you not share all i've said of my tradition or even the traditions either, please."

She nods. "We will be mutual in protecting what we know of each other." Then, "I must go. I must make preparations."

"Yes. I hope you can help this Adam lad. "

"And if not him, your people. Restore the balance if you can"

Her brow furrows. "Balance," she echoes. That word seems to be troubling. But then she nods. "Be well." She turns and nods again to the centaur. "Jordan, thank you."

"You're welcome I guess " He says 'Look I know the Dreaming, not as well as Old man Olgar but ...you know, he taught me. If you need help part way or on post, let me know okay?"

A slight grin. "I have already been considering asking for your help in this. I will contact you with more news when I have it."

Then she goes.

He watches her go, then turns "Grams, you got some explaining to do"

"oh I do feel tired... " A yawn
