Thistle moves and holds open a can. "IN!"

A curious never zips towards the can!

"Oh shit, that dingus is gonna get cooked"

Thistle has a moment to react before Nitwit turns into Kentucky Fried Never...

She reaches to snag the idjit with her salamander-gloved hands.

It's plucked out of the air with a shriek of dismay!

Like steam from a kettle, so too a surprised and upset never! Unhurt, though.

And Kylie tries to handle her part on her own

"Careful, don't knock it or it'll shatter... oy, y'motherflarbin winged idjit!"

She doesn't knock it "Okay why did it want to die??"

"Not enough brain power to contemplate mortality."

It fusses until let go!

Grumbles. "You want I should have fried Never glaze?" She lets it go.

"Okay, well, I don't know how well I did, but glad it wasn't a creamatio"

"Gotta let it cool - weather like this, it hits air, it'll crack."

"I could bring it over next Monday trod?"

"Yeah" She realizes the time "that'd be cool. Thanks. I should get back home."

"Right, sure." Thistle wipes the sweat off her brow. "Hope it turns out cool."

"Me too... and you know what? If I firked it up, still worth it. I learned and had fun. That ain't nothin. Thanks again." She returns the googles and goes

She is offered a swift ride to wherever which way she came from, staying ahead of the snow!

Art approaches the workshop, calling, "Thistle? And, uh. Guest?"

"Hey Art!"

"Kylie just headed out."

"Oh!" He peers at her, and grins. "Good visit, I guess?"

"Not missing any limbs?"

"I was talking to her about raku glazes... Citrine almost bit it trying to dive-bomb the bin."

"Idjits."

"are they okay? That's the yellow one, right?"

"The bright yellowy-green, not the warmer goldy-green, yeah."

"And they're fine."

"That's good. You wouldn't want to lose half of the set. So she didn't want to duel after all?"

"Not anymore!"

"That's a shame. I kinda wanted to cheer you on."

"Well... I'm not about to do a duel. But I appreciate the stalwart support."

"Well, not a duel, like a fight. But it would be cool to see a crafting competition."
