Malik grows increasingly sour as they get distance.

"Are you mad at me for coming to your rescue?" Foxy gapes

"I'm frustrated that the mission failed." he grumps.

"It didn't fail... it just changed.." She holds up some keys "These were on hiis waistband before I knocked him over the head"

"Mm."

A sigh.

"What now, then?"

"Well, we can try to sneak in going for stealth rather than disguise.."

"Did you notice he was asking about dreamers? I think he was looking to ..feed his lady"

"Well yes." he agrees.

"Perhaps the frying pan was too good for him. Do you suppose he'll recover?"

"Minor concussion, I"m sure he'll be fine" Foxy fusses over him

"Pity." fussy.

"Agreed, " She checks his eyes for "I think the drug is out of your system, some counter agent?"

"Yes, I don't travel without a few tricks up my sleeve. Still. We were so close!"

"Well, what happened, when I came back it was like you WANTED to stay there..." Unspoken fuss at that

"YES." he insists "I'd taken an antidote that apparently worked, and I was planting rumors -as planned-....." he sighs "Mission interuptus...."

"Well, excuse me for loving you" She flares a bit, tempted to kick him in the shins

"I do!" he rejoins "I -do- excuse you for loving me, although the Dreaming knows Da'an probably won't. I'm frustrated, but not at -you-."

"mmph" She kisses him "Well, you planted something, and maybe your rescue will make it all the more believable. How DO you want to play this from here on?"

"We should withdraw. One way or the other we are made." he sighs "The keys won't be of use, they'll change the locks or magically enhance them as soon as they are noted missing."

"Oh.. fine" She huffs "I'll drop them down a sewer"

"Do you see another answer?" he asks seriously; if she's got a better idea......

"Change our forms again, perhaps" SHe ponders "Better do that now actually..."

"It wouldn't go amiss."

A quick whip of spells... and the pooka is now a female nocker, and if EBG looks down on himself, he sees that he is the pooka this time, a well fed Chipmunk pooka

"Mm. Well done, Dearest."

"Okay,, you adorablely cute as a rodent" She says "Pardon me, furking cute"

He sighs. "Thank you. Shall we head home?"

she squeezes his hand "For now, we regroup and look for another target"
