He watches it with a kind of hunger.

"Shall we go to work, then?" he carries a wooden box/suitcase/toolkit.

The area they've arrived in seems to be a lot of St. Louis overgrowth, in fact it's official name IS 'East St. Louis' ..the barony does not cover it all, but it's still rather urban in it's way, an echo of the main city right across the river "Oh yes"

"Then, here we go." "Malik" leads her to their targetted area and audience, determined in advance.

Foxy giggles as they approach a 'historic' area, what looks to be a manor house and gardens. It sticks out like spot of green in the otherwise urban area, yet few seem to notice it at first glance. A veiling no doubt. ironicly, it's not that far from restaurants, a movie theatre, and yes, a laundry mat

Malik kenns quickly; anything or anywhere stand out?

Besides the hold itself itself? The manorhouse when kenned looks almost like someone picked a better home and garden in Eden itself. Lush trees and flowers abound even when Summer over... indeed, the lack of coloring leaves seems almost unnatural

"Winter denialists, perhaps." he huffs.

"Does make you wonder waht the message is. Normally Unseelie nobles get quite insistent on non summer months"

"Mm. Let's find the servant's enterance."

BIC: WHile there is a servant's entrance, he also notices that a hedge wall has a gap in it, one they could squeeze through

He considers. "I'm tempted to use the servant's enterence and be an honest candle maker looking to impress a lady versus a sneak-about....."

"Play to your strengths" She nods

"Then here we go." and he leads her towards the door, all attentive.

It appears to be unlocked

He knocks.

The door opens, and a fellow boggan greets him, of course EBG Looks like an Eshu

"May I help you?" The boggan asks. Looks like the Butler type

"I would be mogadored if you could not, kind sir! Would two thirsty wanderers be welcome for a cup of something wet and conversation? Perhaps some crass commercial trade?"

"Mmmph" he says then eyes you both "Well, I suppose your folks are known for their story telling,"A look at Foxy "But no funny business"

"Only dead serious bizness, Yes sir" Foxy curtsies

Malik gives the boggan a deep salaam. "May I know how to call you, kind one?" As he enters.

"I am called Mr. Baldly. I am butler here" He guides them to a table "Have a seat, I'll get you drinks. Coffee or tea?"

"Tea, please and... whatever the lady desires...." and he makes warm eyes at the lady herself.

"Couvre, the breakfast of champions and ooompas"

She declares

"So let it be." Malik declares.

"Quite" Baldly sniffs and prepares them some drinks

"Most generous, most kind, Da'an and the Dreaming will bless you...."

Once the courtesies have been observed, Malik chooses his moment to ask "Mr. Baldly, would you allow this maker and peddler to show you some items of interest? Spin a tale or two?"
