She traces the path, her stomach feeling sick as she notices that blood trail that easily leads her back towards the fort.

And she goes out to find... the Landsharks... corralled

There are barriers, magical 'nets' of sorts that sort through the ground annd keep from going anywhere. Gray seems to be directing the thanes

"We'll have to decide if they need to be destroyed.. " he's telling Redfang

She shrinks back... trusting to the rocks and bluffs to hide her. Kenning the nets... trying to see how deep they go into the ground, how high they go above it. She has to get them out.

"Grete?" A surprisinggly gentle rumble "It's me, little joe"

The big troll is looking for her

"Go away!" She shoves at him if he's close enough, otherwise makes a shooing motion. "I'm trying to hide!"

It's rather like pushing a boulder , he doesn't move much, but whispers "Why are we hiding?"

"The sharks. I have to let them out. I.. I don't know how to get through those nets. Maybe I can lift the earth with them IN it over the edge of it..."

"The sharks are being investigated by the Chancellior. They may have hurt Catir" Litle Joe answers then his brow knits "Did they?"

"They were trying to protect me. It's not their FAULT. I can't let THEM get killed because of me. Either help me, or stay out of my way." She says - big words perhaps, but she has her chin set stubbornly.

Little Joe eyes the nets "How can I help?"

Her chin quivers a bit. Looking back over there, she kens the net - trying to see if it's a round orb all around them, or if it's open at the top in the air above the ground.

It's open at the top but most land sharks can't leap that high

She exhales. "Maybe if I make a ramp, they can swim up it. But Gray n' them will stop them if they see."

Little Joe nods "if you want. I will distract them. But.. " He says "What if the landsharks, once free, hurt someone else?"

"I'll make sure they go away." She says. "They won't hurt anyone here again."

Little Joe looks her over "I understand. It is hard to trust"

"They can't stay here like this. I won't let them be killed, but they can't live in a cage again." She says to Joe. "You remember. Right?"

"I do. But maybe the Baroness will let them go? Did you ask her?"

She shakes her head. "You didn't see her look. They tried to eat her Catir." A frown, and she rubs her hands into the dirk, summoning glamour for a bunk.

Joe nods "Wait. I'll go distract." He walks to Gray and tthe others "Pardon me?"

"Yes, Little joe?" The Chancellior looks over at him

"I gotta..." the big troll shivers

Redfang looks over "you okay , youngster?"

Grete names types of crystals and stones, starting alphabetically. This will take some sort to summon enough earth for them to swim over. "Alabaster, Beryl, Calcite, Diopside. Emerald, Feldspar, Garnet..."

Litle Joe makes a gaze at his big finger "I gotata boogie...I got a boogie..."

"Are you OKAY?" Gray asks the giant giant?

"I gotta boggie on my finger and I can't shake it off" Joe declares "I can flick it off... I can't pick it off.... I sure ain't gonnna LICK it off..."

"Tanzanite... unakite, Vuncanite... ... vulcanite..." She stumbles. "Wolframite! " She skips X, she can't think of one... "Umm... y...y...yellow quartz, and Zircon." She hope it will be enough as she invokes Primal to summon a ramp of earth.

"Whatever he's been smoking it's potent" Red fang blinks as he and Gray and another thane are ALL distracted

The ramp of Earth rips up without any chance for anyone to stop it! And the landsharks leap througgh it like Salmon going up stream!

As Joe is now singing "So I guess I'm gonna have to live with it. I gotta boogie!"

But Redfang turns "Shit! Lord Chancellor, the sharks!"

Grete sneaks around now that they are looking at the Sharks! She circles, and runs 'upstream' of the way they are swimming, around a bluff. "Go!" She shouts at them. "Go! Swim far, far away!"

If they don't seen to be going... she runs that way herself. "This way. Come with me! I'll find you a place that's safe." Digging in her pockets, to see if she has any of that glowing stone they like... to attract them like a carrot before a donkey.

And they do...

The shovel headed landshark (It's not really a shoveel but it's shapeed kind of like that) follows

She may not be as fast as others, but she's nimble enough to jump over rocks in the way, and her stamina? It can't be beat.

Gray curses then says "YOUNG LADY GET AWAY FROM THEM... it's not safe" And he quicksilvers, to try to catch up

She ducks her head down and continues running, occasionally pausing to encourage this or that shark to catch up, letting them swarm around her with no concern for herself.

And Redfang frowns, and lines up his spear to shovel head closest to the girl, he readies to throw

Grete glances back, and huffs, stopping in her tracks with hands on her hips! "Don't you DARE!"

Trying to keep herself between the spear and the sharks.

Little Joe slaps his hand, fingger still out stretched, to hit the spearshaft and causing Red fang to drop it

"Look, bogggie gone" He explainns

A grin to Little Joe, and she starts running again. She'll go with them, she's decided. They will find a new place to live, Grete and the sharks.
