Piper stands at the bow, letting the spray of the saltwater splash around her as they arrive in warm pacific waters!

Siv smiles att it all "Nice nice place, but I like a little nip to my waters" Nordic girls

"You just like to hear me squeak when it's that cold." A grin back. "The saunas are nice, though, I hear."

"We should use them sometime" Siv says "I didn't realize you never tried it" Apologetic sounding. They approach a safe part of the shore

"Oh, I've been to saunas, sure... just not the ones out in the snowy wilderness of Nordic lands where only insane people live."

Siv looks at her, and makes a crazy open mouthed smile "YAARRR BORK BORK BORK BORK!"

Jonas shakes his head, fighting a smile

"Bork all you want, I'm not eating any swedish meatballs even if you had Kerri cook 'em. The lingonberry jam is pretty good though."

"Philistine" Siv sniffs as they close to the shore at a more private place. Most folks who see the Narwhal rationalize it as a more 'ordinary boat' instead of the grannd SHIP it is. Soon the three are getting onto the shore, and the ship is back in the bottle "So, how do we get there from here?"

Having a boa- a ship is very handy! From the pacific waters, they are dropped onto the shore of a little Island city called Alameda, just across the bay from San Francisco. A couple hours north from Monterey Bay... and yet close enough that Piper can't prevent a glance to the south and small shiver before she shores herself up.

"This way, it's only a short walk from the harbor... but pretty much everything on Alameda is a short walk from the water..." She knows the area like the back of her hand as she leads them to the place she grew up.

Somethings have changed, but it's mostly superficial. Mmm homeless problems have only grown.

"Around the corner from here was the cutest coffee shop, they sell local art..." Peeping down the street to see if it's still there.

It's openn, but on rough ground. Needs new paint. Has a window half sealed

Covid has not been kind to it

"Oh... maybe we can stop in on our way back?" She bites her lip a little.

"Sure," Siv nods "Da says we should encourage dr.. the arts"

Jonas puts a hand on Piper's shoulder "Might be a good source of gifts too or at least coffee for us"

As they move on past

She slides a hand into each of theirs and squeezes, holding on as they walk along. And in the SF area, it may not even look odd or out of place!

Nope! And Siv notices this and smiles

"I like this place, it's open minded, un ashamed' Siv smiles

"I think there's a man peeing on a dumpster in that alley" Jonas mutters

"Well, what's he going to do, make the trash smell worse?" Siv chuckles "Gotta go you gotta go"

A laugh muffled. "At least he can pee in the alley. Gals got it harder..." Moving on.

And she sees other places are thriving all right. The weed shop has boomed! err Herbal Medicinals

Piper has a lift in her step as they walk and she points out. "Oh, that was the school I went to growing up! They still have the old swing set, but the jungle gym is new... and there's the park where we'd sneak off to play music after class... That place has amazing wings... what? I used to eat meat, you know..."

Siv smirks "Depending on how loose we're being, you still do, just nnot in the kitchen" A wink at her two lovers

"Siv" Jonas blushes

"Oh, YOU." She'd give a pinch if her hands weren't both busy!

And soon they're in the home stretch!

"THAT used to be townhomes, it's all condos now... prices here have gone crazy. I could never afford to buy anything here." A little sad, but then she smiles up at her trolls, "But Rivervale is nice, and even has an ocean nearby, even if it's a lesser Ocean..."

A roll of Siv's eyes then "Well , we can visit Fennix more if you like"

"I have the best King sis at home, so I don't need to. " She grins. Definitely not stalling on the sidewalk outside of a certain home.

Siv sees them closing on it, "Thannks." Annd smooths her dress "how's my hair?"

"That bad eh?" She chucklles at the pause, but who can blame Piper staring at a home she hasn't been to in what must feel like a while

"You always look good. Primped, windswept on the prow, bedhead...."

"Except for that thing on your earlobe" Jonas squints at Siv

Siv yanks at her ear (WHich is fine) "What? What's . some kind of.. what's on it?"

Piper looks - earring?

Nope. nnada

Jonas.. smirks

It was a joke

Piper shakes her head, but doesn't discourage this!

"you JACKASS" Siv stabs him with a finger in the chest "You know I'm worried what her moms are going to think of me. GAH! Now I'm all tense again"

V and V listen to this through the window. Amusing, the troll is all riled at the other troll, because she wants to impress them

And there is Piper!

The wilders do not realize they're being listened into

"Siv, he made a JOKE... it's like a summer rain in winter! Don't discourage him." She giggles, and squeezes Siv's hand. "And you look lovely. Both of you do, my lioness and my panther. Now, let's go see my moms before they wonder if we sank at sea."

"I'm sorry" Siv apologizes to both "Fiona are SUPPOSED to be fearless... and here I am.."

Jonas admits "I have to confess. I.. still think it was funny" Slight twitch of lip
