Jess nods gravely. "Yes. I just wish you didn't have to, but I understand."'

"Angel man?"

A blush "The man who rescued me part one"

"Sir Jack? He's not an angel, exactly. But he -is- a very good man."

"Well, Liam like angels, right? And church?"

"Some do." she agrees.

"I am absolutely ingrateful to you Comtessas " she says "This is so normal I think I forgot to fall on my face and send a letter with my nose"

"Send a.... um. Ok. I don't stand too much on formality. What should we call you?"

"Calandaria ?" She touches her ears "But Kit is my birthname"

She nods. "Sometimes a changeling hears a different name than the one they were born with, after their Dream Dance. Just checking. Calandaria it is."

"Or Kit?"

"Kit is nice."

"Salma, were you always Salma?" She asks, though her friend is (unsurprisingly) caught up in a book.

"Would you prefer Kit, or Calandaria?"

"Perhaps we put into a vote" She makes a drum roll sound on her thighs "And the public votes kit!"

Ellie laughs a little.

"Then -Kit- it is."

A nod "Don't worry, I shall make straight As in pooka school"

"Sir Buce and other will help teach you. We all will."

"Ask us anything, for sure!"

"How is it no one sees my horns or your ears or your tail?"

"Oh, because you need magic eyes to see magic."

"You couldn't see us before you woke up, either."

Jessica nods and explains about the Mists, belief, and the Dreaming.

It takes a bit, but Kit seems to catch on.

Ellie pipes in from time to time.

She listens, and the Escheat rules make her nod a LOT... "Having been a former Right myself, I don't think the Dream should be ravaged either"

"You have a lot to learn, Kit, but we'll help you. Fae usually take a year and a day from their Dream Dance being fostered and mentored before they have their True Name revealed."

"You have time."

"What if my true name is Kit? Won't that be antilcimatic?"

"That'll just mean you picked well, but it is PROBABLY something fancy."

"And secret, like a cat name."

"My true name is Whiskers?"

"You don't know yet, and it has to be a secret."

Jessica nods agreement. "Your True Name is a thing of Power; keep it secret."

She nods then says "Can I try to guess yOUR truename"

"You can try."

"No, please and thank you." Firmly.

She pouts then chuckles "Si, sorry I am feeling oddly ..how you say? Playtime funpants?"

"Ummm....." she purples lightly and glances at Ellie.

"no no.. uh.. Miss Chevious? Wife of Mister Chievious?"

"Pooka like jests, and pranks."

SHE blushes

Then nods

"Yes, yes, that's it. Pooka are known as pranksters and jokers. Yes."

"Trolls can be very serious, they are defenders and protectors. They smile like this." She demonstrates.

A confused look "But you're crying" At the straight expression

"Oh, they cry like this."

"Pooka are very good at knowing when people need help being happy, though. Shh, don't tell Salma - she is my best friend, and she is very good at making me happy when I am scared or sad."

SHe laughs gently "I won't tell anyone I even know you"
