Sir Jack has woken "Ellie? What are you doing here? Are you okay?" Like her he has a swimsuit. He still looks pale

"Better! Fontaine, he fixed my hurt. Zorra thinks you were an angel, for saving her. She chrysalized!"

Calandaria BLUSHES "Lies, all she says are lies bless her. It is a condition"

Jack laughs "I'm no angel, ask Father V... but you're welcome I .. didn't know you were one of us. I'm sorry I missed that"

"Oh, but you needed to get here. And I saw her bursting with stars, so I knew how to find her."

"And I helped, and only got hurt a little. Much better than the last time I fought against Bad People."

Sir Jack nods "Good. You can't let past injury have you surrender your future"

Calandaria blinks at that comment

"I mean, I am very glad everybody else was there, too. I couldn't have done it alone."

"But I'm glad I wasn't left behind. I'm not a kid."

Calandaria raises a brow "Senorita, if you are a crone you age remarkably well"

Jack laughs at that

Giggles.

"I'm six. Or seven."

"I'm not really sure..."

Calandaria Says "We shall set up the pinata"

"I like pinatas!"

"She does.. and she's good at hitting them too" Jack says "The countess here is quite good with swords AND sticks. Too bad the villains don't spill candy"

"It'd be too sour if they did" Calandaria says

"Probably."

Jack says "I'm in debt to you, Countess. You caught my miss. "

"SENOIR" The Kit Fox pooka says bristling "YOUR miss?"

Jack's jaw falls open" No.. I meant I missed that you were.. I meant... "

"We can't always tell who is going to wake up ahead of time... it's not anybody's fault."

Jack seems be babbling "After what nearly, I would never assume a woman owed me .. I mean I..."

the fox woman breaks into giggles

Jack blinks, then eyes her , then looks at Ellie "Thank you, Ellie. And I'm feeling less bad about it the more she yanks my chain"

"Pooka!" A shrug.

Calandaria says "Apparently we're the wise ones"

"Apparently" Jack rises "Enough goofing off. I better get back on duty" his body comes out the water, rivlets pouring down his back.

Calandaria worries her lip behind him

Giggles from the little sidhe.

"Oh si, he shall be mine.. did I say that outloud?"

"Just a little bit."

"We must never tell him, allow la Zorra to make her mark at a later time mmm?" BLUSH

If JESSICA Should enter, she'll find Jack gone, but Ellie and their new fledge looking fine... (Salma maybe making bubbles or floating on a raft to keep a book dry)

She -does- stick her head in to check on them. "Where is Sir Jack?"

"He left, he was feeling better."

A frown. "Do you know where he went? I'd like to check on him."

"Um - he said he was going back to duty."

She sighs. "Ok. I'll find him."

"How about you two (or three if Salma's there)? Feeling ok?"

"Doing okay! Look, all better!" She 'makes a muscle' with her formerly injured arm.

"Good, I'm glad to see that. I didn't like that you got hurt, but you were very brave, Ellie."

"I'm a countess, it's my job to be brave. You're brave!"

"Yes, but I'm a wilder. I've had more practice being brave."

"So, I can get more practice. I need to be able to fight the dark ones."
