"Then welcome, Mister Webster Worthy. Please, join us for some tea?"

His voile has shiftted, more formal, a fine young lad with prospects. Spider shaped cufflinks made of slightly tarnished silver! "It would be my honor"

Zara smiles, and nods to Velvet. "If you would? The tea set is to your left. I shall fetch the cakes."

Velvet smiles toothlessly "My pleasure... Webster Worthy. Oh I think the ladies will like that"

Several of the sisters tap their approval!

A ligght blush on pale skin "I shall try to live up to it"

"Oh, surely, you shall. Now, tell us of your fosterage?" Tea and cake, as is a proper sluagh celebration. Very mannerly.

"Oh, I will confess I was treated quite kindly ... I was very confused... I was found wandering after my dream dance by a decript old Pooka grump, whose animal form was a grand daddy long legs. Mister Clatterjams tried to explain, but even with my undersanding of spiders, I did not always understand him"

"Pooka can be challenging, aye - but an arachnid variety? How rare and delightful."

"Yes, I soon learned some key differences. Mister Clatterjams took me to the Countess... a sluagh herself, and a Beaumayn. She looked at me and said 'Oh, your saining shall be a first' and I though well, of course, I can only be sained once... "

Zara pinks.

"And I still don't quite understand. She did not have time to fledge me herself, but with the aid of Mr. Clatterjams and later Mr. Gluminski, I had sometthing of a rotating group of mentors"

"Ah... I confess, heretofore, I had only Sained teacups and Queen Anne's Lace. You are the first changeling I have been able to aid so."

"Well.. I suppose fainting post naming would be rude" he says though his eyes ARE a bit wider

Velvet adds

She nods. "And why I did not declare myself such in the middle of a crowded court."

"I see why" he says and sips the tea "My, this cream is lovely"

She salutes him with her teacup.

Velvet seems pleased , "I know I had naught to do with the bulk of today, but I cannot help but feel part of a victory for sluaghkind"

"Well, a new member of our kith is a victory for us all."

And tea goes warmly and well
