Little Joe nods cautiously "You.. this isn't a trick?"

"I know, the Liam feeling. I'll have to prove myself trustworthy. Please let me try?"

"Not Liam more.. well, you are a sidhe and you're setting in that chair"

that settles it, the boggans whisper to each other, the baroness gets a new throne

She beams. "I am. Colton is a fantastic knight, and he's guarding bravely in his new hold."

Little Joe says "Then.. I'll help you." A nod "if you do right by us. I'll even swear to. Liam or not. The balor can never rule here again"

"I will not force loyalty, but I will honor it with my oath in turn. Thank you for giving me the chance."

Little Joe bows again. It's like watching a mountain start an an avalanche, and then take it back.

And with his withdrawl, Siv says to her quieter "He's a good fellow. He's just been burnt a few times"

"I'm sure there's a lot of healing that must happen here." She taps her chin. "I wonder if Jude has anyone to spare..."

If you ask Zara, he doesn't deserve half of waht hes got Siv says "He usually knows a guy who knows a guy if he himself is not 'the guy'"

"He does. But he's one f=of the best connected Liam I know."

"I think you'll get some help there for sure" Siv agrees, then she ponders "Let's see.. Rivervale would help you. I'm sure. Earth Runes, of course. Fenix likely... Jude ..natch. " A pondering "Well, the DeBukes are still mostly modernists, but they've got big hearts so might be closed to the idea"

"Well, Clem might, even if th Farm doesn't."

"TRue, Aunt Clem's a good one" realization "O h if you don't have enough healers she'll definitely set things up"

Siv looks about "I think they've infitlrated the hold" Only half joking "They seem to know us already... way too well"

"No good hold is without boggan magic. Thank you - Clarence, wasn't it?"

Siv almost wants to protest that, but lets it be.

Symon lurks just outside the doorway, watching the flow of folk in and out.

"Oh, you make that face like Anne Marie isn't causing miracles at Rivervale, Siv."

"Well, the FIEF Needs her yes, but the lodge is pretty self sufficient" Siv says

"Yes, Baroness. Clarence. And most welcome"

"Of course it is. Well, maybe sidhe need a bit more help than trolls." An easy shrug and a self-depreciating smile.

"Or the boggans just don't like how tall our furniture is so work outside lodges" Sheepsish admission. Then... a glance "Ah, someone here to see you, Baroness"

"Ah, yes?" She turns, searching.

And the boggans part... leaving view of the door where Symon might still be watching from

He exhales, then steps in. "Baroness." A bow. "Do you have a minute?" He asks, a little doubtful, watching the flow of petitioners and well wishers.

He nods. The cuff declaring him a 'Pillar of the Mountain' hanging on one scrawny arm.

He approaches the throne, and bows.

"I know you were part of the group opposing the deceased Baron, and I thank you for your contributions. What would you have me hear?"

"To start, I brought you some homework. Or I guess, intel." He strains to be heard without approaching closer than needed. There were quite a few protective looking fellows hovering around their new liege. But takes a step forward to hand this over.

A nod, and she takes the paper.
