The young fellow is unbanal to say th eleast. She does not see a fae soul in him though, but he might be a Dreamer of exceptional power

Cricket wanders helping the divorcee saying kindly "You have nothing to prove to anyone"

Zara runs over the others. No, no..

Zara? 1122 taps There's a pull!

A pull?

"You'll be surprised what comes to you in art," NIgel says finishing...something, not glamour, power from the Canvas

And Zara gets a peek. a lovely painting of a web...but there are symbols in the web, and trapped in the center as a painting, is 1122!

Whose painting?

Nigel's?

Her eyes narrow.

Nigel! he has summoned the chimera like one might a spirit, and trapped him

Hiss.

Earl's eyes widen, but only a second.

"Now," Nigel says "Continue continue. I need to go reflect on my art, see what it means to me" he excuses himself, and take 1122 with him

Zara squirms and scuttles, following the Hermetic.

And down he goes into the basement with his prize. Setting up in that meeting room "Here we are." He positions the canvas

Zara gets herself into that room, hidden and watching.

"Now, I compell you, spirit! "

And magic flows...

1122 begins to tap Death first!

And Nigel blinks "Wow, that got rather intense fast, I haven't even started asking question"

Zara attacks the spell, fuddling it. Magic is still Glamour, after all.

A small redirect - surely, the spider is about three inches to the left!

He startles and turns and then says "And...who the devil are you?"

Silence.

"You're intruding on a private reserve. I take it this spirit is in your service?" A glance to the pinned spider who is still parto f a painting

The shadows lengthen and reach at Nigel with skeletal fingers. "release the spider" echoes a whisper.

"No. " he says and lights his pipe "Now if you want to discuss matters over tea, perhaps we shall"

"He is not yours to take, or to harm. You will regret deeply should anything happen to that spider." Behind him. Not a whisper, but soft spoken and intense. And angry.

If he turns he sees... a teenage girl, slight in build, with dark frizzy hair contained in braids. Her eyes are onyx-black and narrowed, but she does look, overall, quite mundane.

He turns, "So young." He pulls out a chair for her at the table, "Please, have a seat. How should I call you?"

She hesitates, but takes the seat. "I have many names. You may call me Rusalka."

"Rusalka, from the Slavic spirit.. or monster that, when men disrespeected the river, would lure them, seduce them, then drown them and fed upon them . Yet wise, if approached."

"Aye. Take from that what you will." She steeples her delicate fingers, watching him. The girl does not blink enough.
