The library seems at war with itself, oh some parts are orderly, but others in use and left wide with books left on benches , desks and tables and left there because someone wasn't done. Others come by, tidy or pick up, but behind them someone else gets other books. No one is there now, but clearly there is a battle here between the organizers and the too caught in reading TOO organize.

SO much to see...

Likely a good thing Bronte is at home. She would never be able to drag the little dragon away.

That said, it is breathtaking...sizable tomes, not pocket novels. Leather bound many of them, some using book bind materials taht are a century out of fashion. The smell of OLD books dominates. There are scrolls whose ink she does not recognize the scent of.

To start, she simply peers at one of the open books. While she naturally reads several languages, she's willing to resort to magical means to translate.

An introduction to the Kabal..which would be new age fluff normally.... if it weren't actually written in Hebrew and.. Sniff the ink and paper, at least 140 years old!

"Nigel, and Cricket... " Skimming, looking for something to draw her interest. She is less concerned about magical theory - what she has seen of it in action is too alien for her to use - and more curiosity of social structures, of lore, of history.

And of course, solipsistic interest in anything a willworker would say about the fae.

She sniffs, careful of spells, of magical tripwires... few things escape sluagh senses, who else can see beyond the veil? Who else may pierce illusions by eyes alone?

On the spiritual level, she sees it, an eye on the book, twisting and turning. It does not see her, the veil she wove too strong

Still - caution is merited. She takes the book out by stealth, avoiding the eye's direct gaze.
