Briar is wide-eyed, but looks up to Gwen - “I still think you could take her in a fight.”

Gwen smiles "Thanks, Briar."

And Nadeen's ovation seems to make her glow with pleasure before it's someone else's turn. Someone throws her a rose, and she takes it, and says "Rivervale," A pause "Loves to dance" And strides back stage

Olgar actually chortles "Is it me or did she just slap the other baronies here with their own gaunlet?"'

Kerri is applauding, and grins back at Olgar. "I think the point was already made, but she put a big exclamation point on it!"

The teaneck challenge after that , is a bit of a flop. Not bad. Just.. merely good after that is not going to cut it.

It receives applause, but yes, not the level of the best.

"Lyron, of Rivervale Barony, dancing to pay respect to " the announcer says "The Chieftain, and 'All the gorgeous ladies at the Apartments'" Almost a question in the announcer's voice. how odd

Brekke gives a curious look. "I was not aware this would happen."

Piper chuckles and blows him a kiss.

And the lights on the stage are actually dimmed , the dark skinned islander... however, brings his own illumination

His bare chest seeming to be carrested by the fire's light to display. Powerful muscles at play whirling the flames and then leaping over them.

Gwen feels her toes curl.

Siv whsipers to Jonas"You know.. there are things we can do with candles.."

Briar twitches... thinking of spit roasted goat haunch.

Brekke watches the artistry and control of staff, stick, chain, and flame with a serious expression, nodding slightly to the beat of the music.

Sylvi smiles as the flames spit and curl.

Piper swallows, enthralled by the beauty in motion.

And the performance ends! with a burst of pyretics magic well applied

Dagmar watches, and turns a shade of purple.

And Brekke hears a voice further back from what might be other barons "Well damn it. I forgot they had satyrs and sidhe too"

Brekke glances over to see if she can spot the origin of the comment.

Aiden politely watched the dances, but his gaze followed Nadeen, thoughtful, watching where she had exited the stage.

Sylvi jumps up and applauds at the final burst of flame and smoke.

Lyron goes back stage "You ladies didn't tell me you didn't need me" He tells Sylvi with a grin

“You were amazing, Ly!” Piper beams!

Sylvi grins back at him. "You think I was going to pass up a chance at seeing that?"

"Piper , your music... it's like the world's song. " He kisses his finger tips in a french chef kind of way

And Brekke sees the baroness of house Eiluned (of course) whowas most likelly the talker

Kerri gives Olgar a speculative look as she applauds.

“Next time, I’ll play or drum for you.”

Olgar returns it with a grin

Brekke smirks slightly at the notion of thwarting expectations for that particular baroness.

"Thank you all for coming, the judges have spent the last few minutes sorting and.. they are, to be frank...."

"Mountain's over here" Vali calls out

"Vali...." Brekke's mutter is loud enough to carry.

"Ahem" the announcer continues "They are, to be earnest..." A LOOK... but no one here appears named Earnest, " utterly stunned at the sheer amount of talent and versatility in dance. The Count himself in the box seat has given his own opinions as well though he is not aj udge, I CAN tell you he says this convinces him to keep the Dance event for next year! ALl participants should be very very proud. Their love of dance is clear"

A whoop from Piper, and then she covers her mouth with a grin.

cheers and applause "But, while Fiona might disagree, love is not enough in this contest." He takes the papers "Ah ha, we have it. We have a tie for third. Siv Waveborne, Lady Captain of Rivervale. And Emmisarry Sylvi Davidson also of Rivervale!"

And clearly Siv and Sylvi are expected to go out and bow together

Piper DOES whoop now in earnest! “Get up there, chickies!”

Siv looks to Sylvi "Sylvi, it's fine. you were great. Come on"

Sylvi did hesitate for a moment, but then she smiles and goes up with Siv, waving to the crowd.

Behind the stage, Bluebell bows to Nadeen, and reaches to offer her a hand, waiting for the results.

Olgar bellows a cheer. Confusing local moose who know it is NOT mating season

Nadeen takes it ,and confesses to bluebell "If you'd gone after me, I'd not done nearly so well"

Tove claps and says "I think Piper deserves some praise too but that' me"

Kerri is also cheering embarrassingly loudly!

A soft squeeze. And she smiles, looking a touch nervous now that there is no dance and music to hide within.
