Baroness Lundy still dresses regally in front of those not in the know, but like a lingerie model once those who are in the know are the only ones about- as pleases her masters. She lives to please the people. Her barony is actually thriving, the figurehead system seems to be working.

CC looks about as they return, "Oh my your gift has staying power" There is a decided unseelie majority.

A small puff. "It was your idea, and gift, Dearest."

"I know," Pleased "I'm just fishing for praise"

"What is this place?" 'Rose' says

"I will praise in full, but in private." He promises. "A place for you, if you wish it 'Rose. '"

"How can I help the cause here?" She seems unsure

"Did Isaw there was a cause?"

"BUt..." she protests "YOu knew I wanted to fight for the people"

CC says "Here, the fight is now defense" She tells the girl "Subtle, deception, and that is it's shield"

"Versus brazen theft. Let us find the one in charge." That last to CC.

"You mean the baroness?" Rose sneers the word

"Mm. If you say so."He finds a 'servant' and asks.

Soon a nocker and troll they may or may not recognize show up fetched by the 'servant' who smirks

They certain recognize EBG and CC "our benefactors... how can we help you" The troll says with a grunt

"You aen't here to collect royalties or something are you?" The nocker says cautiously "We're funding shit into our infra structure.. or rather 'the baroness ' is putting her people first"

"We are not." Firmly. "In fact, we bring a small gift." He pushes her forward gently.

"Death to Tyranny" Rose declares!

"Oh furk" The nocker says

The troll looks at EBG and CC "She's.. an enthusiastic one"

He sighs. "She will get herself killed."

"Which we'd like you to prevent" CC says "She has potential, a great deal in fact. But she needs to survive some years to reach it"

"Oh come on, I got the job done without being old" Rose protests

"You got caught." Bluntly.

"By you" she counters

"And if hadn't, you'd have been caught by their watchdog troll" CC says then looks to the troll there "No offense" then back "And even if you got away it away it wouldn't be for long. "

"Only because I distracted the Thane that would have caught you otherwise. " he reveals quietly. "Yes, indeed."

"Fine, but here? What will I learn here?" Rose protests

"Wow, she's flattering" The nocker says

"She is young and with help and great luck, will grow older."

"Stay here or go elsewhere, girl, the choice is yours. "

"Rose" The troll says "give us 3 years. Three years to learn how we work, and then, if you are unsure our path is your path, or you wish to move on, then we will not stop you. Our land is lush, and it may seem to you our people need nothing, but freedom is not free. It must be guarded zealouosly. Are you zealous enough to be patient? Are you fired enough to be steadfast and watchful rather than rushing forward for temporary jabs and bandage solutions?"

Rose looks at EBG and CC "CAN that help? You think? Not just you, make me.. better?"

"Time will tell." Dryly.

She looks at him, then looks at CC, "You two are so in love I almost feel ill. He doesn't like me, does he?"

CC says "He's a one eyed WC Fields"

The grump boggan glowers at the girl. "Discretion is a vital skill; it can keep you alive."

"Yes sir" She says then blinks "Who's WC Fields?"

"Older by the moment." He mutters.

"You might find his material funny but it is in the archives. Either way you'll get what I mean if you check" CC says "Yes, they can help you. Or we wouldn't take you here"

Rose grumbles, then looks at the troll and nocker "Fine. Three years. How can I Help here"

"I'll put her to work" the nocker says "Come on.... we're going to show you how to obscure"

"First.... show them what you barely managed to make away with." He orders.

"Oh" she holds it out "This is supposed to go the the starving people of the barony I was in but I got kidnapped here to the land of plenty"

The nocker says "Okay did you steal a pEN or something because hOLY FURKING BUTTLOGS"

"I did say we brought you a gift." Mildly.

The troll says "That's enough juice to... wow"

"ANd no one here NEEDS it" She scowls

"Kid you nuts? That can do a lot more than feed 25 fae and poof... we use it right, we can create weapons and items of power and slip them into the hands of those on the front lines"
