"You're welcome, Snugglebear" His mom kisses him on the forehead.

Nab blinks "Snugglebear?"

"When he was a baby he was a big clinger" His mother explains "SO cute and he just did not want to let go"

Nab snerks "Snugglebear"

Oh dear, that one he can tell Nab is filing away

Adam looks grimly resigned.

"Come on, Brenda, let's leave Snugglebear and Nabuni be" His dad says pulling at Brenda's arm and looking amused in that dad way

"Oh everyone has nicknames" Brenda says as if she can't see how this might be a problem, but she moves with her husband "Bye Adam, we'll be around if you need us. Nabuni, thank you again"

"My pleasure" Nab waves "Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on Snugglebear for you"

Adam looks to the heavens for salvation from his own demon.

None comes... but soon he and Nab are alone "This is just ADORABLE. Wait till I tell Alanza"

A sigh. "If you can find her. No need to rush, Nab, ok? It's just a kid's name."

"But it's so cuute" She says "Also, I bet you were adorable as a kid" A wink "not as adorable as you are NOW mind you."

"How much can I milk this before you feel picked on TOO much?" Nab hip bumps him

"Just about now." He slips an arm around her.

"Tell you what; you can use it in private, ok?"

"Spoilsport" But she agrees "Okay okay..." She snuggles into his side "Snugglebear"

He tilts his head and gives her a kiss.

And she returns it, happy to ease his worries, or distract him just for a bit. Happy to BE with him

“it was terrible and Snow is still mad. I think. I’m not sure if she remembers things. She DOES have a good memory for fruit though. And she’s kinda like a squirrel and we KNOW those hold grudges. The one in the oak near Dagmar’s house throws acorns at me whenever I get close, and I only barked at ‘em ONCE.”
