Adam finds Sir Bachdion "Hello, Lad. how goes?"

"Hi! Uh, hello, Sir. I found Nab, she's ok. Do you know when, uh, when we might find those fall guys?"

"Autumn People, my boy, and well, let's start to scope out the apartment shall we? Not going in, not yet"

"But if we have a shot? I mean, if there's something going on.... right?"

"I hope so. It's a dangerous situation ... even for you. Let's try not to get you undone. your mother might kick me in the shins" he says

"I mean, we could go in if there was something happening, right?"

"It's not quite like that.." The Fiona says worried "The law, mortal, may not be on our side in this. And fae law may not protect"

"Shit." Disappointed.

"And you can't punch someone out for 'boring you to death'" A pause "Well, you can but you have to have a good cover story"

"I can think on my feet!"

"You'd be surprised how poorly hooves and feet substitute for gray matter, but good to hear it. LEt's get in the car and go check out the area around it at least"

"Cool. Want me to drive??" Eagerly.

"Sure" he says, being fearless

And hands him the keys as they head to his car. A dodge charger

Adam's eyes GLOW. "Dude......" he breathes.

"You like?" He smiles "I don't really use it much. Flicker flashing has spoiled me, but if one has to drive.." He pats it with a ffection

"Wow......"

"Hop on in, " He takes the passenger side

Adam does not HOP into this vehicle; he slides in reverently, and caresses the steering wheel. "Oh man....."

A DEEP breath.

"You have to start it for it to zoom" The satyr advises "pro tip"

"You don't want to hit the gas right away! You gotta ease into it." Adam murmurs, exploring the car's controls. For safety, surely. "Introduce yourself."

"Well aren't you the gent?" The satyr grins

"I try....." another breath and he keys the engine over. "Oh, baby......" as the engine purrs.

"Nice isn't it?"

"So good....."

"We can tool around Jefferson a bit first" he says "Get a feel."

"Can we? I mean.... if you want....."

"Go for it" He encourages

He eases the car out and respectfully encourages it down the driveway.

"Yeah....." and as the car responds, he challenges it again, and soon they are motoring along.

"Oh, she's nice....."

He drives carefully, considerate, and with respect. But he ENJOYS each moment.

"Oh yes, and tight on curves"

"OH YEAH......"

"And over here is wshere the Baroness wiped out over a curve so do slow down for that"

"Yeah........" softly, and he takes it careful. "Which Baroness?"

"Oh I said too much as it is" He says "She might get riled if I mentioned it"

"Ok." He is totally into driving the car. THIS car.

And they get a feel for the area too... outside of Jefferson City, through some backroads

Adam is mostly involved with driving. And the car.

Something steps onto the road in his way

He brakes!

And just in time as he almost hits the dog!

"SHIT!"

Adam grips the wheel. "Damn......shit......"

"Easy I didn't hear a thump"

"Still....." Adam wants to go check.
