"The lIbrary at Earth Runes is pretty damned impressive" he says "Miss Zara and Baron August set it up... "

"The Professor's library isn't good enough? Or the one at Firnost?"

"I've never been in the one at EarthRunes."

"Honestly not sure what the Professor keeps in there. But I didn't think it was Fiona-centric - or very noble centric at all. But you're right that I should ask him. I just thought of Siv first." And she looks thoughtful. "Firnost has a library? I've only seen the upstairs."

A moment, and then she gives a sheepish grin. "Okay, I didn't mean that how it sounded!"

"I've only been there once, and didn't have time to explore!"

"Hey, no judgment, just amused looks meant to make you feel annoyed" Amused look

"Also... Dad studies fae governments... he's got like 3 books on Houses including a copy of Noblise O Bastards"

"That's all dry as dust, though... boring stuff. Where are the epics and the battles and the good tea? No one ever wrote a ballad about the Three Hour Signing of the Treaty of Whatsispants."

Sylvi grins at Piper's Firnost admission.

"But...aren't fae government books going to have a lot about the Houses in there?"

"She wants an excuse to get out of the house I bet" Zane grins

"Maybe." She allows. "I was thinking of his dusty old tomes as, like, history texts. And to be honest, I would have asked him... Siv is just more fun. And Zane's not wrong."

"For once."

He sticks his tongue out. Yup. Maturity sacrificed.

"Go out and hit the ER Library or Firnost one.... Sylvi can go with you. Make a quest. I'll pass on word to Dirk and let him know he can patrol a bit"

"Another quest! It's always quests around here!" She laughs a bit wryly. "Can I finish finals first? I owe Mr. Gardner that much."

"Ugh, finals. Remote finals. I mean, finals are bad enough, but this is just....bleh."

"I actually like it better. I find it so hard to focus at class. If I can tune out for a while and do something else and not be locked inside for HOURS... it's not as bad?"

"I miss the girls with short skirts" A sigh

"I'll see if I can hook you up with a friend or two if you're willing to take the math final for me."

"Ha" A grin "No way. Dad would murder me..cheating at Academia is to spit in the face of the muses... " miming his dad's voice

She rolls her eyes. "Did you know that you can sing the quadratic formula to the tune of the Notre Dame fight song though? It helps."

Zane chuckles "THanks. I may try it. Later ladies..." he waves and heads out
