her mind clears

Dagmar spits out blood, struggling back to the NOW... and.. there's a fight still on. She hurts... when did.. blue.. Sylvi? No time... she stabs with Flyswatter's spear point at the besieged spiral.

Flyswatter spear point jabs at the back of it's greasy furred neck..

and there's a sound of bones.. in that neck starting to crack

It howls in pain and tries for a lash on the girl who distracted it..

Sylvi stays out of Dagmar's way, but she keeps her spear tip harrying the Spiral's face.

And the spear seems to emmit a haze.. throwing the claws off.. wahtever medicine is in the spear.. it protects as well as hurts

She blinks at her weapon. _I didn't know it could do THAT... _

No time to investigate right now, though.

The spear in the face has one other benefit! It kind of 'holds' the Spiral's face still while Dagmar just keeps PRESSING..

Sylvi spots the other beasts attacking Dirk, and she cries out, "Where ground is soft most often grows, arise! Arise! Arouse! A rose!" as she casts her spring magicks.

Dagmar hauls the Halberd back.... oh, the softball coach would weep to have lost her to track...

And with pure King stubbornness (adopted), she lets the mighty polearm swing in a gleaming arc. The curved blade cleaves into the mangy, boil-ridden back, parting through hide and flesh, bone and spine with a sickening wet THWACK.

Sylvi jumps back. She's not exactly unfamiliar with bloodshed and combat, but.... "Wow."

And it drops, falling to the ground. Reverting to a man....

Or pieces of a man

A momentary hesitation, and she's charging to help Dirk.

Dagmar stalls, faltering when the monster reverts...

Dirk and Lupe have gained an edge... the thorns tearing into the enemy certainly slowly slowed the remaining two Black Spirals down.... in fact, one looks near death

Sylvi joins them and stabs her spear at the stronger-looking of the black wolves.

Dagmar wonders if she's going to black out

She wants to throw up, but her friends are still fighting. So she needs to keep fighting.

The spear pierces fur and flesh, and Sylvi feels like beyond that , it's like pushing it through frozen bone

And Dagmar ..keeps fighting..staggering closer. She sees one is more wounded than the other. Dirk is drawn to that..redcaps prey on the weak... or in this case, mroe wounded. But Syvli has made a stab at the stronger one that is currently trying to rip out Lupe's throat. Lupe sticks her claws in her attacker's side

She goes for the one on Dirk... 2 on 1 for each monster, yes.

"This thing's, like, SOLID inside!" She draws back her spear and stabs again and again, going for quantity of wounds at least.

The BSD that Dagmar hits howls in pain, litterally, as its leg is severed! Maybe itw as already wounded there, maybe even a wounded troll is just that strong.

And then it's dead. Downed, it's throat is an easy target... and the redcap bites deep

Dag turns, looking for an opening to strike the last Spiral.

Lupe takes what looks to be an oversized knife fallen in battle, and rather than use her own t eeth or claws, shoves it into the foe and speaks in a growling voice "You do well... Sylvi... just give me a moment..." There's a rush of rage and the talking weaewolf that knows Sylvi's name curses something akin to 'die muther fucker' or near translation and jams the twisted knife into the heart of the other

And then Dagmar's last blow, well, it's not her strongest blow..

But as it is enough to SHOVE the thing down Sylvi's spear by the force of it... it ends up being good team work

As truly gross blood spills all over Sylvi's clothes as a reward for getting the killing blow..kind of

Sylvi winces. "Oh, UGH...."

Dag staggers back, leaning on Flyswatter to keep upright.

Sylvi looks at the others, Dagmar especially. ((ST, how close are they to the lake?))

About a mile

Dirk grins, blood on his mouth, a slash cross his shoulders.. "That was FUN!"

"Crap. Hang on, Dagmar, you don't look so good. Sit down."

"Estupdio" curses in a growling voice, shifting not quite to fully human but recognizable

"Okay." She sits. Or falls down on her rump. Somewhere in that spectrum.

"Lupe, I was hoping that was you." Sylvi's fumbling to find the water bottle she'd been carrying on her jog.

"You can tell it's Lupe cause she has those tan and gray marks by her eyes..." Dag chimes in from the ground.

She finally finds it and opens it, singing, "I'm a Pepper, he's a Pepper, she's a Pepper, wouldn't you like to be a Pepper too!" A wince. "Okay, weird cantrip, but there it is...." She hands the well-of-life water to Dagmar. "Take a big drink, pass it along."

"Okay." She takes a deep swig, then holds out a wavering arm towards Dirk.

Dirk eyes it "my scars will make me loook like ak iller I dont' need..."

"Take it or SLAP you SO hard" Lupe is more of a baritone in this form, maybe bass

"Trust me, you look like a killer either way," Sylvi says as she tries to scrape off the goop.

Dirk grins stupidly at Lupe "Yeah.. you might be able to kill me with one blow." And he takes a drink

it's not every kith that finds death dealing a turn on.
