And they drive.. Nadeen looks over some chimerical notes. Vali looks out the window.

Adam is very much the chauffeur.

And they pull up behind a train of chariots, horses, carriages, and... yes, even cars.

Nadeen ahems "We can get out here"

Adam nods, puts it in park, and gets her door again.

"Thank you, Thane" She says stepping out, she soon moves to Vali's side. "Sir Knight, shall we?"

"Indeed." He says

Then Nadeen looks back, "Thane, did you wish to wait out here?"

"No, Lady. Not really. I'd like to come with you."

"Then please be on your best behavior, follow Sir Vali's lead... stay three steps back behind him unless he motions you forward."

Adam nods, and falls in behind Sir Vali. Who I have to remember to call Sir Vali....

And into the court they go.. there is a tension ...but whatever it is, it doesn't over ride the ceremony, the pageantry

Adam's been here before, but he watches all, wide-eyed. He doesn't speak first, he stays like Vali's shadow, he watches everything like a hawk, as if making mental notes and analyzing what's going on around him.

Vali seems to pick up on this and if Adam follows his glances, makes nods to certain areas. or people. Sir Otto is there, whispering to a sidhe lady in a chair. A satyr in knightly armor chuckles at some joke that's not that funny. Nadeen touches at her throat. All of this means something

Adam lights up, recognizing Sir Otto, who gets a respectful bow if he glances back.

A slight glance, mahybe a nod.

Boggans seem to weave through the crowd like smaller fish around leviathans , and the sidhe act like they're invisible until something is needed.

It's so easy to ignore them. Who pays attention to the bark when leaves are in glory? Who notices a wisp of a cloud at night when STARS blaze and dance?

And amongst all this, who would pay the slightest attention to one Enchanted mortal?

Indeed, he longs to be a star, but it seems he's more like the boggans, scenery.

Perhaps so, but at least he's -in- the scene not out in the car or back at Rivervale.

Then he notices something, a boggan servant passes a lady sidhe something more than a drink. A note?

she folds it discretely into her glove
