Through out the hold, the great play unfolds

"Rapunzel, our princes are trapped in the tower..." Ariel says pointing to the male dolls way up high and having her own disney princess doll in her hand

"Oh no! Ariel, we must save them! I'll use my magic hair!"

"I got seaweed to tie the base so it won't crumble" She says

"Smart!"

"Thanks" She beams

Sound effects as the doll's hair is tossed towards the "tower" - the little Rapunzel doll flies up to the princes in distress. "I'll toss them down and you catch!"

"I shall rouse the creatures of the deep... " and she does a little song "come on flounder ,you too.. we're ready.. oh look, your prince is impressed by your bravery and smarts AND Good looks"

Ellie holds out the prince doll. "Okay, are you ready?"

"I am!" She says

She drops the first doll. "Okay!"

"Eric, I've got you..." She catches..well, gets the doll to catch "Even if almost married squid girl and showed poor judgement there"

"Boys are silly." She agrees.

"They are" So glad someone else sees that

"Okay, Eugene... down you go!"

"I got him... but .. oh no! Eugene has been bespelled! " A gasp as she lays him motionless

"He's either been hit on the head with a frying pan, or eaten a cursed apple. You have to get down here and give him a kiss to free him!"

Ariel is quite sure of this.

"Oh no! Must be an eeeevvvvviiillll witch." She scrambles down

"yes, and they give the good witches a bad name"

"Right! Like Glinda!"

"Okay Eugene! I'll save you!" She smashes Rapunzel-doll's face against the Flynn-dolls in a 'kiss.'

"And the music starts up and we play 'at last I've seen the light' as he wakes up.. oh.. lanterns floating"

It is clear that Ariel considers background music a crucial component of this stuff

"Oh, yeah." A somber nod, but agreeable. It is very important everything be Right.

'Eugene' awakes, saved by true love's kiss...and the heroine princess are pampered by their true hearts "And now Eric agrees that he and Eugene will take us shopping. You want to go to the stores in your kingdom, my kindom, or should we visit Jasmine in Agrabah?"

"You have a Jasmine doll, TOO?"

"I thought they were yours" She says surprised

"I didn't bring anything with me..."

"Well, I left most of my stuff in Iowa" Ariel says stunned "Wow. Yeah, there's like 6 princesses in the box.. see for yourself... also Malficent and Jafar... and four prince guys..."

"Wow..."

"It's a treasure trove" She says impressed

"I knooowwwwww. OH, they could have a party!"

"THey could... " A smile "what kind of party?"

"Hm. Tea? Tea seems very princessy. Miss Cobweb at home said tea was important. She gave me etiquette lessons."

"Was Miss Cobweb a Sluagh? Sluagh do love tea"

She nods. "Yes. With black hair way up in the fanciest bun I've ever seen."

"Neat. I've learned how to do buns but I like my hair down myself. oh, how do yo ulike your braids?"

"The boggans at home would do them fancy, like, rows of them, but Gerald couldn't do those..."

"Oh, well, I don't now if I'm that goood but I'm working on it" A sigh "Wish I didn't have to go back to the farm .. I love the area to run in but it's like... so ...farmy all the time"

"Why are you here instead of there?"

"Oh, to heal your hair.. Spring magics.. wonderful stuff."

"My cousin works here as a thane, and someone here knew it upset you so they told him to please send a reelation wtih spring magics to help... and they were all PLELLLLLEASE.. she's miserable... and I know spring magics and others were busy so"

"oh..." Somber.

"Thank you very much for coming to help me." A pause. "Maybe... do you think maybe you could come by sometime just to play?"

"I.. you'd let me?" surprised "I mean.. yes? I'd like.. I'd like that"
