The appeal of Earl's painting makes more sense, now...

in this place.

Yes. This isn't an educational fear. This isn't a fear of slow building artistry... this is the grind of hope being worn down

A whisper, though she is careful to be unseen... "to the window, look, look, they are slain..."

And they turn...and look...the children are not all enchanted, many mortal, but a few childlings are here to.. and kinian... and they seem to share the glamour and..maybe imagination so they o thers can see it, or at least visuzlize

"Kind of looks like Nurse Danzig"

"Who's the slender giant with the glass sword?" One girl says "I like his face"

Zara twists her fingers, coaxing shadows - those who cannot see the chimera can see dark things falling before the bold nurses (and Earl!)

And a surge of renewed hope sends out waves

And a voice says "Well done, Children... let me see your war faces!"

that was not her voice...

Zara looks for the source.

And it's a sidhe coming out... he looks like a doctor to mortal eyes, lab coat too... but that coat becomes a flowing white cloak , his green vest and golden tie become breastplate.

His mace flickers with the remnants of chimera.. he has been fighting

Zara kens the man, getting a feel of his glamour.

Powerful... the Gwydion is casting

Sovereign As he chants "Cootie Shot, To the Left, to the Right, Ahead. Cootie shot behind me! Cooties block-ED!" It's.. most undifnied yet he says it with the dignity his kith can say at anytime

She pulls out her tarot, drawing one card blind - a simple omen, one askign what manner of a man this be.

As a weaverward zooms out, repulsing the nightmares that try to slip past the protectors by shear numbers.

She gets her omen..

She sees a Falcon tending to chicks of all sorts, eaglets, Owlets, and song birds, it matters not... it rips its own breast open to feed them like legands of the pelican

Another nod, and the cards are tucked away.

Earl comes back, wounded "So many of them.."

Thane Danzig grunts "Yes... but he got the ward up again."

Well, likely she will have to emerge soon...

"Lord Timorus, this Knight came to our aid, but I believe he is also the artist you requested the work from"

"Oh, excellent," the Sidhe lOrd says "Was it he who cast that shadow work and encouraged the children? I thought I heard... saw someone.."

"it was a lady, Dr. Tim!" One of the childlings said "her whisper was girlish"

"oh, my apologizes..." the sidhe says "My apologies to the lady. Please, madame, come out. I would speak with you"

A moment, and the pale sluagh appears.

The Sidhe inclines his head.

And Zara bows.

Earl bows as well, "I got your request, Lord."

"You're both very courteous, and thank you, Sir Earl. Have you an interest in selling the painting? And,...maybe I see it? I want to make sure it's as perfect as it seems"

Zara nods, silent approval.

Earl was waiting for that, his lady's nod more than the Sidhe's request and pulls it out.

"As you can see , Lord. It is of the size promised. nwo the lighting I was worried about but..."

The sidhe takes it in his hand "It will be perfect, thank you, Sir. It will inspire the children, and more"

The way Lord Timorus ap Gwydion of Dappledvale looks about the clinic, Zara can see him appraising not just where to put it for viewing, but..occult purposes

Zara goes to Earl's side, reaching to take his hand.

Earl looks as his hand is touched and he smikles, giving it a soft squeeze

His eyes into hers ask a question 'so he's a good one?' confirming her ealrier nod

"Tis a pelican in falcon fledge."

"He vulns his own breast."

"mmm?" The lord says placing the painting just so but not finally "Pardon, Sir. If you are worried about recompense you will find me a man of my word. I had need of this to make sure a certain protection could have a loci to fuel it to last longer..."

He means to charge the weaverward to keep the nightmares out

"Aye, we do not doubt your word."

"Too kind. Now, before I cement this, I really must pay. Did you wish the 10000, or the choice of treasures?" he asks
