"Zara, I can set up my own things" Earl fusses as she fusses

"Mayhaps..." She sets out little daubs of paint - she apparently has studied his layout.

He notices and is touched, "Really, Emma did an amazing job."

"She is quite skilled."

"She is," He helps her set up, and then starts to paint talking "Siv's an odd troll...and yes, I realize the irony in ME saying that. "

"Takes one to know one?"

"I suppose it helps." A smile as his eyes focus on the painting he's only just begun, "I hope you're not upset with her. I should have paid attention to the cantrip. I'm used to it lasting longer"

"I am just relieved thou weren't seriously hurt..."

"I really had the most amazing visions though... things that..well, maybe I need near death experiences more often..." he says without thinking it through

A HARD poke in the side.

A bit of a jump "What I..oh" A purpling as he realizes what he just said "ah.. or perhaps not. Not until you're done with me" He assures

and then adds "And i hope you're not for a loong timem"

"Precisely. I have claimed thee. Death would find me MOST vexed."

"Well, " the shape of a woman bathed in a soft light slowly manifests, "I don't want you and death vexed with each other."

But he looks pleased, touched, and yes, plain smitten at her claim of him

"Nor I."

It would seem her love is indeed inspired. Rarely has she seen him move with such purpose and precision combined. He is infused

She still fusses. There's his water, there's his rag, there's a new brush...

And now and then, he breaks long enough to use them, or, kiss her on the lips or shoulder to assure her he is well, and goes back.

Zara realizes that Earl is going to make some glamour tonight, and she even feels a bit herself? But how is this latter possible? How.. how is she reveried?

This is not her usual style, no...

Fear ... she.. is she feasting on her own fear? Or ..perhaps.. perhaps her love for him combined with it. Oh this is most curious...this tenderness is not new, but so recent after the scare... perhaps with the Fiona energies aiding? or Earl's Oath to her? Could it be... her mind races a bit with possibilities.

Still, it is delicious. And her Artist is safe and whole.

And oh, the wonders her hunter is painting
