And go he does, to his room. He throws himself in and onto his bed to steam.

"So what's the damage?" A voice asks. Nabuni

Adam growls softly, but not at her.

"Can't go back to the apartment til... whatever."

"Can't talk to Etsie or Ricki or her dad or the sisters....." High color in his cheeks.

"Well that sucks. That was where the hot racoon girl lives and the Cubana Horned hotties are right?" She frowns "I can see your imaginings"

"YEAH."

"Know what? I hit 18, I'm fuckin' MOVING IN to that place."

"Actually, not a bad idea" She says "It's not very banal, is kinian and kithain friendly... rent might be reasonable..blah blah so on" A nod "But what are your folks doing NOW? I mean, they're done punishing you right?"

"No." another growl. " 'We have to think about it, talk about it, more shit might roll downhill.....' " He 'mimics.'

Nab frowns "You.. you want me to help?"

His head pops up. "How?"

"I can distract them, have them focus on new priorities" She says "And no, I won't possess either of them... just influence them"

"they will think of other things than hassling you" She explains "I mean, it won't take much and then you can go on living your life"

Adam thinks about it. "Tempting. Like... how?"

"Make them less uptight , less 'this is how you do things' hurumph" she says

"Is it dangerous for you?"

She beams 'Nope. "

"But thank you.. it's sweet you worry"

Adam considers glumly. "Could it make things worse?"

"I don't THINK so.. it's different is all"

"What's the worst that could happen?"

"That's the spirit" She smikles "I'll get to work' She pats him on the shoulder and flies off.

Surely, all his problems are soon to be solved
