Adam starts to march after his dad.

"Whoa, who said this was for two?" Olgar says

Adam stops. "But....."

"You wait to a count of 10 while he goes on..then you go. " Olgar says "We'll keep it interesting"

"8....6....4..." Olgar counts

Adam grins at Nab, eye glinting.

Nab kisses him on the cheek "For luck"

"Mmmmm....." now the glint smolders.

"2.. 1.. you're on if you want to be"

He flashes Mr. Davidson a cocky grin and charges in, Nab clinging to his shoulder.

And charges straight into the trip wire he did not see.

Falling on his face, Adam realizes the ground is opening up and he's in danger of liding down into a trap door

And he does! Falling into the dark into a bean bag...and there's a slam sound above him

And it's very dark.

"Nab?"

"I think you just lost" A voice from above says. "You're in a pit with a lid on it"

(Nab's?)

Yup. Nab's

"Are you in here with me, or out there?"

"out here.. I decided not to go down the hole"

"Uhm. sorry"

"No, no, Nab, that's cool. I'm glad. Uh. You don't see a way to get me out up there, do you?"

"Not really, I'll look for a rope, but I think you otherwise just lost the contest test trial thingee"

Adam goes off on a fine round of cursing; if he were Fae, the air might turn blue.

He knows ALL the grown-up words....

Five minutes later, "I'm sorry, nothing I can lower down.. found razor wire and I'm not using that on you"

He interrupts himself to sigh. "Yeah, no, thanks for that. I'm going to see what I can figure out about down here. Can you stay there?"

"Sure sure.. just ..uhm.. I think you have to wait until the trolls resc-" She rethinks the word "Let you out"

"Huh? Why?" He starts feeling out the space he is in, arms outstretched.

He's on a beanbag and pillows, so finding purchase takes a bit. But then he comes to feeling the wall, it feels very smooth.. he's at least 20 feet down.

"Aw, man, these walls.... like someone made it so you can't climb them!"

"Wait!" He fumbles for his phone in his pocket.

And he finds his phone yeah sure

He tries to text on it.

It seems to work

She's been a bit MIA lately, but she responds after a few moment. Hey Sexy! What up?

_No, stuck in a pit trap thing at the junk yard. Mr. Davidson is at the entrance. Supposed to be a capture the flag thing with my dad but... _

(Time passes... not a lot, with the streets deserted, she can largely lope along at Satyr speed.) Another text. I'm outside the gate.. should I hop over? Try to avoid Olgar or anyone else? This isn't a paintball thing, is it? I hear those hurt and I like this shirt.

She might notice a gap she could fit through if she tries.

Not sure if he'd try to stop you. Not paintball, no. I don't want you hurt. And I like that shirt too. On the floor. 😉

"Hmmmm." She shrugs out of her bulky jacket, and gives the gap a test wriggle to see if she can squeeze through.

She can, though she has to be careful, that shirt almost got caught.

"Eep!" She sucks in her belly a little and squeezes past. And, surveys the wasteland before her...

Junkyard chic... but with organization, laid out into a great maze. And on one nearby mound, stands Olgar. He's watching someone deeper into the maze
