"Let's go up. Keep hold of my hand. Vali is trying to follow us." He murmurs.

"She hit him." She whispers to Frank, urgent and upset. "I know it."

"We will stop her."

As they get closer, they hear sniveling.

Frank texts the apartment number to Vali.

"Shut your fucking pie hole... " A woman's voice behind that door "Or I'll give you something to really cry about"

She jerks her hand away, starting for the door.

"msorry.." a voice says

FISTS. CHIN. GLARE.

Dagmar probably could knock the door open with a solid slam... she seems to be calculating that right now.

Vali comes up the steps

"Here we go....." Frank follows Dagmar and if possible, will knock before she blows the door down.

"Who is it?" A woman's voice says

"Pizza delivery." Frank calls, blowing the cantrip.

"I didn't order a pizza" The woman says

but the door does open to a thin chain

"I didn't order a pizza" she says.

Dagmar grunts.

Frank pulls out his wallet and spends the Glamour to fuddle the woman into thinking he has a badge. "Please open the door, ma'am."

"YEah yeah... Sure...sec" She closes the door, and whisper might be heard

Frank hears "I want you to hide, you know where"

And a mutter "yes"

The door unlocks and open "Yes, officer?"

The woman is not pleasant to look at, sour faced and barely masking distrust and hostlity but she tries to put on a smile

"May we come in?"

"What's this about? " She says

Frank moves forward as if permission to enter has been granted.

"We had a report of an altercation. Are you alone?"

"Right now i am, my foster kid hasn't been here for over an hour. I dropped him off at that lunch program they're doing" She says "Got to make sure he eats"

Well, that's got so many lies in it it's not even funny

"Really?" Skeptically.

"Yeah" She says "You musta heard the guy the floor above me... he's an alterncation type"

That's when Dagmar pushes through and takes a punch at the woman..only to miss as the woman sees the aggressive move, tries to shut the door...

and there's a wham as the door gets PUSHED on and nearly smacks the lady instead of her getting punched "Are you crazy??"

A growl. "LIAR!"

Frank moves into the apartment.

"Wait, what are you doing with a cop? Hey, officer... help me..this little bitch is pyscho!" She's back away rubbing where the door hit

Snort. "I ain't the little bitch, lady."

Officer Frank, oddly, holds the door open for a moment, invitingly, and then closes it. And locks it. So they are all inside.

She looks around and scrambles to get to a dresser

"She's going for a gun" Vali mentiones

Dagmar bullrushes the woman, looking to knock her down before she can reach the dresser.

Frank likewise steps towards her, looking to get to the dresser first.

The lady is out of shape, and.well, Dagmar's not. While a lot of her training has been in melee weapons, she's had a life where you get your hands dirty. She slams into the woman knocking her down and Frank easily makes it to the dresser. Sure enough, if he looks, there's a gun.

Dagmar stares at the woman with barely-bottled rage, bearing her down with her full weight - she's not small in her mortal mein, either.

"Get the fuck off me, you nutbar... you're the liar... probably on drugs..."

Her golden eyes flash red, and she SMASHES her fist into the woman's face.

Frank nods. "Good work." Then she punches the woman and Frank blinks.

"Yeah? How does it feel? You like beating on weaker people?"
