She quietly kenns the two of them - Jaymes had her under orders to keep an eye on his brother. And well, Vali's there.

Vali seems pretty good on glamour

Frank leads the way in to the trucker section and they are seated.

A waitress approaches to take their order then stops "Frank? Frank King?" The Pooka woman looks familiar somehow.. SHe's a cow pooka, mid 20s and friendly

Vali raises a brow, "Who's your friend, Frank?"

The Cow Pooka beams "Oh he probably doesn't remember our years together with me as a sidekick.. great five minute adventures they were. I'm Rose-Cud but you can call me Rose, or Bud."

Rosebud? Frank might remember a Knock kneed childling/early wilder

She eyes the pooka, wary, before venturing a smile.

There was this girl with big brown eyes that used to follow him around. Oh wow.. is this Bull Durum's girl? Bull Was a Trucker himself

He nods slowly. "The memories are rusty, but yes. I remember. You are well, Rosebud?"

"Why you sweet snuggler, I am as happy as Pea in a pod with no soup on! Now how you been getting all distinguished? And who are your friends?"

He rumbles. "This is Vali Gardner, my co-pilot on this trip, and Sam King, my niece." He keeps it mortal for the surroundings.

A beaming smile from her, "Well shake me hard and call me Butter, it's just great to see you both"

Vali snerks at that phrasing and smiles, "Nice to meet you too, Rosebud. Any friend of Frank's and all that."

"I knew Rosebud's father." He explains.

"Knew him? You and he so proud of your rigs, had to measure them every time you met," SHe says to Dagmar as an aside, "Don't ever fall for a truck driving man, darling, that road's a temptress floozy, even when they're not on her, they're thinking of her."

Vali looks at Frank, "And how did your rigs compare, Frank? Since it's out in the open?" Amusement. He's loving this.

Sam stays quiet, watching and listening.

"Now don't you try to embarrass ole Frank's and Beans here out of jealousy , Vali bear, many a lady is perfectly okay with a blue volvo, makes em feel safe." THe Cow Pooka assures Vali, then turns to Sam "Darling, anything on the menu " She hands one over if she hasn't already got one "That you're liking? We got Corned Beef" She crosses her self as she says it

Vali blinks as he's compared to a volvo.

Frank is slowly purple, but maintains an outward dignity.

"How is your father, Rosebud?"

"Um." A guilty look at the menu.. then the cow...

At Frank's question, she says "oh, I just cannot get him to go out to pasture. " A sigh "Old Bull just won't find a home regular.. you know how hard headed dad can be? " SHe does show a little worry then sighs "Last I heard he was racing Bandit over the border without a care. He only calls me once a year, of course, but the Bullpen rolls on or so he told me last saturday."

Frank listens gravely, and nods slowly. "When you are next in communication with him, please tell him I was thinking of him.

Vali eyes the list, "I'll have a cheese burger, ketchup pickles mustard and cheese only, and ..." A glance at the buxom and buoyant bovine wilder , then back to the menu "And a Milkshake"

"I sure will, First Crush O mine" Rosebud tells Frank with a smile, then takes Vali's order, "Sure thing, darling... and you clearly know a good thing when you see it" She flutters long lashes knowingly

THen Rosebud looks back at Frank "And what's tickling your fancy with a feather today, belly wise?"

"Chicken-fried chicken platter with everything, coffee, large milk."

A proud look "Nice of you to notice, sugarplum and I'll get you that Sanders Sampler right up." Then she turns to Sam, "Darling if you're worried about offending me, don't. Nothing on there that's been at the family reunion in a decade."

Quietly. "Could I have a cheeseburger and fries, please? And a Dr. Pepper?"

"Right away" The lady smiles "You want anything on that Burger?"

"She does like things spicy" Vali volunteers.

"Oh shoot, honey would you like us to hot sauce and pepper that bad boy?" Rosebud offers

"Um. No? Just.. all the regular burger stuff?"

"Maybe on the side." He suggests.

"Like lettuce and tomatoes?" She falters.

She winks and says "It'll be here before the man counts ten" ANd off she goes

And she calls out as she with a happy flounce to the back, "One Mr. Pib Rip off, Tatter Tentacles and the Beezechurger al not so Royale with greens and proto ketchup with a cup of Greekfire on the side, One Foghorn has a smart mouth platter with shebang, Beanmilk and Moo juice el grande..." Vali's order is called out too but is lost as she gets further back

"Okay, she's a delight," Vali says

"She's... wow. Yeah."

"Knob-kneed childling, last I saw her."

He appears thoughtful.

"You okay, Frank?" Vali notes the look

"Mmm. Hoping I read her information about Old Bull correctly."

"Probably a way to double check on it later" He says "old connections maybe?"

He shakes his head. "No."

Vali lets it drop.

He shakes it off. "Folks....." to the table companions

"Yeah?"
