"What you are, and who you are attracted to is your business. I hope it includes me, but if it doesn't, you let me know, okay?" She takes her friend's hand "Also, I'm sidhe. It's a cheat I know, we look great. Not going to feel BAD about it." Her eyes sparkle.

A laugh.

"I mean, you are pretty special."

A perfect smile, "Thank you. You're rather amazing yourself. I do love your eyes."

She blushes - and those amber eyes light up. "Um." Smile. Shrug.

Nadeen sighs wistfully, "I'd like to kiss you now, but we better get down and make sure Tove's not getting into trouble on her own." Then, she gives a brief kiss anyway, just on the cheek, or tries to.

Dagmar allows it, reaching to brush fingertips against Nadeen's cheek. "Right. Downstairs."

Nadeen leans a bit into the touch. Her cheek feels delightfully warm to Dagmar's fingers, cool at first, but heating. "Yes."

BLUSH. "Yeah."

Nadeen takes her hands and kisses them, then heads down the stairs.

Dagmar walks with her, hand in hand.

They come down and hear "Okay, I added a few things for my taste but... this is really quite good, Nadeen. Thank you. It hits the ribs nicely."

"Not too spicy for Dad?"

"No no, not too spicy for your father" she smiles

"Glad to hear it," Nadeen says

"Okay." Agreeably, as she gets bowls down from the cupboard.

"Now, Nadeen, how is cheerleading?" Tove asks.

"Alpha squad is a lot harder than beta in some ways" Nadeen admits, "travel for big games mroe common... and if we screw up, more people to watch."

"Well, you won't screw up."

"Oh not me, but some of the team.. " Nadeen says "Sylvi brings them up a bit though. She's a natural team captain."

"She is a good leader, yeah."

"Wonder if she'll be the next Chieftain? Long way away, though."

Nadeen bites her bottom lip, then says "I am no Beaumayn, but there are patterns and politics involved. Sylvi will be Chieftain one day-if she wants to be. She may yet walk away from that path." A look at Dagmar "But I can make some other guesses."

"She might. I think she wants to go lots of places."

"One day you might be Storm," Nadeen says "NOt htaty ou'd make a bad Hearth, but Storm is your strength"

Tove fights a proud look but it gets out , then says "Well, plenty of time yet in good Chieftain Brekke's rule."

"Lots of time." Agreeing. "I dunno if I'd be a good Hearth - Storm would be cool, though. I like fighting, like - combat fighting. Not the other kind fo fighting."

"O good, then when we argue you'll just admit I'm always right" Nadeen says happily, then winks.

Tove chuckles "Oh good luck with that, Nadeen."

"You're right a lot." Agreeable.

"So's Tove."

"Thank you" Nadeen says.

Tove gives her a smile "Yes, well, it happens."

The food is quite good.

Tove seems okay, but she's tiring easily. ASdn it's noticable

"Hey, Tove, why don't you go watch a movie? Well clean up..."

"I can do it" Tove says

"Yes, but there's two of us, we'll get it down faster." Nadeen says "Besides, my parents would be upset if I was a rude guest."

"Well..." Tove says dubiously but weakening "Fine."

She gets up "Thank you, Girls." And she goes to the couch to watch a movie.

"Bet she's asleep in five..." Dag whispers to Nadeen.

"10 if she feels really feisty, tops" Nadeen whispers back as they get to cleaning up "You want to wash or dry?"

"Wash."

She nods and grabs the towel to dry "We'll see how long it takes her" making a game of it.

A little giggle, and she sets to washing - leftover stew in a tupperware for Jaymes, then water in the pot for it to soak.

Peeks out... show Tove watching a movie raptly one minute... then two minutes later, slouching... then by the 4th minute laying down.. hey, her eyes are still open by the 5th minute, blinky but there... and by the 7th minute? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Nadeen grins as the clock when they gauge this

"Halfways, guess we split it?"

"Closer to yours, so very generous of you, I'll take it" A smile

"So... what was the prize?"
