"YEah? did he break your heart?"

She chews on her thumbnail.

"He hurt me, yeah. And nobody believed me, they said it was all my fault, that I was a liar, that what I said happened didn't..."

"YOu're not atalking about being tricked into loving someone are you?" Valerie says

She rubs her hands along the tops of her thighs and shrugs, looking away.

And Valerie puts a hand on her shoulder "I'm sorry. Here I am whining and you went through that. "

"Ain't.."

"It... I... it was before. I'm strong now, nobody..." A frown. "I don't like seeing people hurt, and I wanna help. And we figure we need to get him to stop this."

"Okay. How.. how can I help those other girls?" A nod "How do we stop him?"

"Well, the idea is to attack him socially. Get it so he can't play this game, and that he doesn't get a bunch of guys hooting about it, neither."

"Ruin his name, as he showed dishonor" A nod "Yes. I can help with that"

"Cool. We have a place to meet - Mrs. Joosteen is helping us."

"Let me tell my dad I have 'Club' business, even when he's not enchanted he trusts that. And.. thank you, Dagmar. pardon, Dame Dagmar"

"Just Dagmar, yeah? Dame is for when I'm jousting cars."

A slight smile at that, which means by non troll standards it's a a grin "Thanks, Dagmar"

"Hey." Shrug. "Ready to go?"

"Sec." She goes down to talk to her dad, then comes back and gets a large two handed mace. When she shakes it, the ball at the end lights up like a glow stick "Ready"

"Oh, NICE."

"Thanks" She blushes "I call Starwrath the Blinder"

"I know we can't hit him, but I promised dad I'd carry protection if I go out and risk trouble"

"Well, this is Flyswatter..."

And the trip turns into a discussion of weaponry - perhaps even briefly exchanging arms to see how they feel!

"Oh that's NICE.. the edge looks so.. may I?" And the two do exchange weapons and talk. She's definitly more a hearthy girl, but that's a good weapon and she has some training

And by now, Dagmar's done enough cooking to be able to talk about it!

Valerie will tell her story of Flubber the Bulldog/Boxer mix! Her dog... and buddy, and Geneva - her cat and overlady.

Hopefully, both girls are in a better mood by the time they get to the secret tower.
