"Hm." Brekke nods. "I understand."

If Kyle is offended he doesn't show it.

"Suffice to say, i was young, and stupid. So when that dashing guy of House Lanister showed up, I melted...."

A moment of confusion on Brekke's face before she realizes what the reference is. A nod. "Did you learn a name from him? I understand he may have provided a false name, but I would like to know it regardless."

"Manix Fireblade." She says "I can remember that now. Honestly, it sounded fake then too but it all felt un real so I didn't mind."

Then she looks at her husband and squeezes his hand

"mmph." Kyle says "He deserted you. I am not pleased."

"Interesting. Has he ever tried to contact you since? Perhaps to offer support for the child?"

"It let me find you, Kyle" A smile, then "Oh, no, he never contacted me" her smile falters

TECHNICALLY it rings true, but there is something to the edge of it

A slight narrowing of her eyes. "Nor any of his associates?"

"If someone offered to help me finaicianly when Ihad him, I would have leapt at it" That's true

"My wife's never been anything but honest with me" Kyle assures.

As he does though, Brenda winces. Satyrs feel things deeply, even perhaps a bit of guilt

but guilt over what?

"I...see." Brekke nods and, mercifully, lets that line of questioning go for the moment. "Perhaps you remember what colors he wore? It might indicate his House."

"Well, I joked about Lanister because he wore a Lion, but the Lion was silver not gold like in the books. Does that help?" She says. Truth

That actually gets a slight grin from Brekke. "It does. It helps a great deal. The silver lion on a red field is the symbol of House Fiona." She might even seem a bit relieved.

"You seem pleased" Kyle observes "is there something positive about Fiona?"

"Hm." Brekke belatedly schools her features. "Fiona is a...a fine house," she allows.

"mmmph I suppose. Not like he knew he was going to be a father" Kyle says begrudingly

"Exactly so" Brenda says (LIE!)

An eyebrow, but then just a nod. "Well...I thank you for helping me to understand. Do you wish to come inside the Lodge for refreshment?"

"Please," Brenda says "Kyle needs to make troll friends. And you've been so nice, Brekke ? Can I call you Brekke? Please call me Brenda"

A hesitation...then a nod. "Yes. Please come inside." And she leads them into the Lodge.

Kyle gives his wife a look at the familiarty being taken. Something in him finds this a bit too chipper

Valerie is not in the Barony of Rivervale, but that's okay

With trods to this one, still in the county though... Dagmar seeks out Valerie at..well, her house.

Knock-knock-knock.

She is not in armor, but she IS wearing her green and gold.

The door opens, and a TALL Human who is not a troll.. oh, he's a Kinain.

"Is Valerie home?"

"Certainly. a moment"

She peers inside through the doorway.

She sees him go upstairs... and a moment later a tall blue girl comes down

Dagmar waits and watches.

"Hello?" Valerie doesn't look as strong as her, but is not as slender as Siv, she's pretty enough but more a wholesome girl next door thing. Her voile doesn't seem warrior like

"Hi. I'm Dagmar." She offers out a calloused hand.

Valerie's hands have marks of a different sort from weapon use. Light burns, needle pricks... the sort she might notice more on Kerri. She shakes "Dagmar? the Car Jouster girl?"

Blink!

"Uh, yeah. I did that."

"Wow, uhm.. nice to meet you, Dame. " She says "Please, uhm.. come in."

'Dad! I'm taking a stranger up to my room but you wont' care because she's a girl!" Valerie declares.

From the kitchen theres a grumph nod sound

A snort-laugh.

"Dads." Full of understanding.

Valerie nods "Yeah. Sweet but so uncool" And they go up to her room. There's a poster of Alton Brown on the wall.

A nod. "I've seen him. Tove likes his show. My mom. She's hearth-ish."

"What's Hearth-ish?" The young troll says confused
