Baron Rostislav looks to the Countess. Clearly he can see the benefits

She sits back, sighing.

Tea arrives, and there's a pause to serve.

"It smells wonderful as always," THe barones says politely. THough she certainly understood the sigh

"Formorians are not Unseelie so much as, yes, Evil."

"I am aware, they fear he's fallen into their power. My father is an extroidnary socerer. Why he might know how to wrest magic knowledge from them, he would never knowingly be a slave to them. But you see why I hope to ..verify for the peace of mind of some?"

Baroness dancingsnow considers, "It would be untrue to say I was not somewhat concerned, though I feel more guarded against well intentioned individuals who think I am some delicate flower."

"I wish to know mostly if hsi nature has been compromised so I may inform the Chieftain that he is not the enemy, but yes, I would like to assist my father in his passage to this world with full power as he seems to desire"

The rest of the room empties, and the Countess beckons Nadeen forward.

Nadeen comes forward and offers her hand.

"Baroness, you have met Baron Rostislav, I believe?"

"Yes," She says , and for a moment the younger woman searches the grandame's eyes "We had the pleasure"

The baron nods, "I hope I was a worthy Escort in your eyes, Baroness."

"The perfect gent, lord" She assures

"Good. Baron, will you bring the Lady a chair please? Thank you." And when she is seated, the Countess sits back and gestures in invitation. "Shall we negotiate?"

"Yes, of course," She says once the chair has been provided and she is seated, "Though, the knowledge you gain from this could be... extensive. I Hope you do take that into account?"

She nods graciously.

"I thank you, how can I repay you for this task? Obviously I maybe most vunlerable to you for some time, but then, given your power? I was that from a distance"

"Yes, but you were not within my ken or interest." Reasonably.

"And I am now? I'm flattered," She admits, "Then we return to, what coin do you hope to be paid in?"

"Can you negotiate in good faith on behalf of your father?"

"Yes," She says "I can, but I will try to do him full justice in doing so, and his worth is far greater than mine"

"Precisely. So he will be bound by your word?"

"Aye, though I myself would be reluctant to limit his power you understand, or work against his plans"

"And you do not know what his plans are?"

"Currently his plans appear to be to find a way to enter the world with full memory and power, able to transform mortals into changelings at least on a immediate scale." SHe admits

"Oh my." She sits back, steepleing her fingertips at her lips.

"Quite," Nadeen says "I confess, If it weren't for the pain bit, I'd heartedly endorse it."

The Countess sinks into thought.

"I'd even be willing to be the one who experiences the pain, but .. I gave my word not to... harm myself," a sigh "For 12, well, now 10 and a half hours"

"And I must return when that time is close to up"

She remains still for some time, then breathes in (had she stopped?) and looks back. "On the face of it, it's a dark effort with Evil allies for a dangerous prize, indeed."
