She blushes. "Well, okay."

"So how are you two liking the pennons?"

"I've never seen anything like it. I don't want to leave...."

"It's been good! Did you see Chief win? I tied with Colton, so that's pretty good, too!"

"I think a glass arm that can't be broken is cheating" A firm grunt then a wink "yes. I did see"

"No more cheating than having a Blessing, yeah?"

"And he's more skilled than I am, for sure."

"Mmmph nope. Don't see it. Clearly my favorite grand daughter is the best in all things" The old man shakes his head as if someone were telling him nonsense like the moon was made of red instead of green cheese

Adam grins widely.

Purple, mutter, shrug.

"She is pretty awesome." Adam agrees.

"I knew you were an astute young man the moment we shook hands," Torin says, "Any other crafts of any type you're looking for?"

Adam lets Dag field this one.

"Um. I dunno..."

"I might go back and look at daggers again. A back-up weapon, yeah?"

"Some for the boot or band" Her grand father nods "Fair. Oh.. it's not a craft but some one has a chimerical pet store... I knwo you're not interested in that as you have enough"

"I don't think Dad would let me..."

"But, I mean, I could look at them - right?"

"You COULD yes." A nod

Mischief in the old man's eyes.

She smiles back, a-sparkle. "Adam, let's go!"

As the two head off, they do find what appears to be an adapted school bus, only if the top were patch worked to provide maximum air for animal carrying without risk of heat exposure. The animals are not , for the most part, in the bus, but rather out and on display in small corrals and so on, room provided so the pets can walk about.

"Ohhh..."

Birds, cats, dogs, .. all of unusual colors , patterns, and more. There's an area with rodents...some in little outfits.

"Oh, look!" Adam is drug from place to place, Dagmar has to meet them all

And she loves every damn one of them.

A kinain comes up, judging by the feathered hair and long nose he must be related to a bird pooka "Hey, folks. Let me know if you have a favorite type of chimera... and if you want to give one a good home, you take the test and we talk price. I'm Beastly Bob. "

"The test?"

"yup. " he gestures to something that looks like a 'test your strength ' device ... it ranges from 'Douchwad abuser' all the way to "LOVE Doze Critters"

Beastly explains, "Doesn't matter how strong you are... if you aren't good to animals, you won't make it move far. Doesn't matter how weak you are.. .swing it, and if you love animals and I don't mean as steak, it gets up high or even rings the bell"

"Can I try it?"

Adam is happy to be dragged along, and enjoys Dagmar's love of the AMAZING critters.

"Oh sure, folks don't have to unless they're gonna buy... play with them all you want .. you got a favorite? "

"Oh... the turtle.. and the purple cat... and the color-changing parrot..."

Bob laughs "Yeah, my fav too. Hey, you're rivervalers. BEAUTIFUL win for your HOrse at the joust"

"Stormwake! Isn't he amazing? Did you see Star, too? She didn't compete, but she's our newest."

"Oh you're a horse lover then? Oh nice. I'm afraid only have one or two horses. Most of them are too big for the bus"

"I don't think we can fit another horse. But I do like them, yeah. I have a cat. And.. well.. Snow's too smart to be a pet, but we do feed her?"

"Oh well that's kind of you..." Bob whistles, like one would for a horse... and one flies in...

"Woah......"

the fact it is smaller than your average house cat might make it..less impressive

Well, smaller in body, the wings might even it out
