"I don't think they mentioned any music, but it's also possible High Summer had them feeling plenty reckless as it is." A shake of her head.

"Oh, it was High Summer on top of everything else? Well...." A helpless, amused shrug. "They enjoyed themselves, it sounds like."

"Glad someone is" Sally Mae says "I had to dump Josh. Found out he lied to me about Lynda. "

"Lied? Lied how?"

She mimes "No baby I wasn't at that seedy beach motel with her , your friend must have seen someone who looked like me. I totally had that funeral or I'd have been there to help you with your study group like I promised'" A snort "He was. And.. you know, there are other women in the world, we're not joined at the hip. I get that, but that particular combination of lies was..ugh"

A wince. "Using a fake funeral or a fake death in the family to get out of an obligation is just about as tacky as it gets. But...you're sure it was a lie? I'm inclined to believe you, but you found evidence?"

"oh yes. Facebook about the funeral included 'sorry I couldn't make it, had to help my girlfriend's study group'"

Kerri's expression shifts to a glower. "That is a man who needs his ass dumped HARD."

"I did... say.." She says as they wander towards the kitchen, "What do you know about ... "And she names a local guy who sometimes works with Jaymes at the convience store "He seems nice and I Figured if anyone knew, it would be Jaymes.. who is non verbal, or you... "
