A lot of how they work and access it ,how their cantrips.. or spells if you prefer, work is bound to that. Trolls are tied, among other things, to Guardianship... protection..duty. Their magics often reflect that. A satyr is bound to passion...sometimes carnality or music...but always a passion. THey can both cast the same spell..let's say to heal someone... but for a troll it would be a sense of undoing the arm because it is their place to do so, to have prevented it in the first place. It might feel of soft steady drumbeats and shine like a shield being raised. The Satyr weeps for their friend's harm, and wants them healthy so they can join in the dance and other passions so... the healing might have a euphoric kind of high for a moment, and urge to give out a yell of joy as it mends. Same goal, different styles. But the style isn't... merely for looks. It's to the bone for them."
