A furrow between her brows. "They the ones that made this place?"

"No, that would be the abolutionist who lived here. A mortal dreamer... they hung him...outside that on that tree, as a ..well, what they called him is offensive and I won't say it 'race traitor' is close. He built this place, his death and efforts made turned mortal building into something more. "

"Oh..."

"Can I get you something to drink, Dame Dagmar? " He says "I Hope the history doesn't upset you. There's a glamour in a sad story like this place... of one man dying to defend a dream, and the seeds of his dream coming true as the world is dragged forward. It may not seem very...feudal, but there is magic here in that dream regardless." A smile "Gerd, koolaid?"

"Do you have..tea?" Gerd says "I've kind of out grown koolaid"

"Sounds like a good dream, anyhow." A pause. "Is it red koolaid?"

"We have red and purple. Or lemonade? And I do have tea" he adds "Gerd, you've grown, I hadn't.. I missed your togail. I hope it was good?"

"Complicated, Lord Umbre," Gerd says

"Ooo, purple please!"

"My favorite color" The grump smiles and touches his house symbol "A moment...I'll be right back. That big recliner and that bench are both troll worthy, have a seat you two"

And he departs.

Gerd says "What do you think of it?" Now that it's just them "And Lord Umbre?"

"He seems okay."

"This is kinda cool."

"Yeah, his hold's..well, puny, but he's a good man. He.. he more advises than rules this area. HIS Idea by the way... he asked the commoners to select a minister he could work with, they have another freehold but it's a lot further away so flying here was quicker. " A sigh "Poor Lord Umbre. He stays out here when most Beaumayn are in New Olreans and such... where a lot more glamour can be found. He says it's his destiny"

"Seems they get real stuck on destiny."

"Must suck seeing the future."

"Seems to be," Gerd says "They..do a lot of good with it."

"Sure. But it still sucks. Glad I don't, you know?"

Lord Umbre returns , "Tea for Gerd, and Grape Koolaid with extra purple for Dame Dagmar." He hands them over , "Gerd, you should know this area is not safe for you"

"Thanks." She takes the drink.

She takes it, "Thank you" And sips "And I know. I'm looking for the Bridges."

"Welcome," he says, "And I believe I can help you... if you two like, we can talk, and I can see if I get a vision regarding things that I can safely share. Maybe even a bit of fair fortune on top of it. Mmm? But first, tell me of your adventures. How are things in RIvervale? I get so little news."

Gerd says "Well... recently, Dagmar and the car? here's how it happened... " And if Dagmar won't tell.. SHE Will...

Dag blushes and shrugs quite a bit during the telling.

Oh if she's leaving it Gerd, then she's going to be blushing a LOT
