"Apparently there was a to do with the togail of one Gerd Hornshield, inquiries were made into a mortal girl named Erica regarding, get this, eating disorders... as Gerd is a rivervaler, I thought you might find it interesting. Alas, my friends the Wayburtons, their son is dating a sidhe varich, but as he's a satyr and she's yhoung I imagine they'll eventually break up."

A frown at that last bit. "Do you wish to hasten that eventuality?"

"In willows, chattanooga area, a small hold run byh a LIam sidhe and her boggan husband to help children is about to be seized..."

Oh THAT catches his attention firmly.

"No no... " regarding the hastening, and to Chattanooga, "It would appear insult was given to a Daireann lady, and I use the term loosely, who is seizing their hold because her wound wasn't tended first rather than a mortal's more grievous injury"

"She expected differently from a Liam?" Skeptical and insulted. "Oh, if only I could....."

"Yes.. I thought about this. Turns out, said Lady of Daireann has a pennons from a count to claim right of battle... the Liam will lose.. because any champion she uses must be OF her hold, meaning she can't just bring in a ringer. It's a nice set up. "

He is steaming quietly. "That is not acceptable."

"You could make someone appear to be of the holding."

"If the liam lady is willing to lie.. yes. There's a simpler way that none of them are thinking of" A shake to her head.

"Oh?"

"Yes. Of course ,it could earn the wrath of a count.. but 'steal the pennons'"

"Hm. Not a bad idea. Or, I could introduce something fun to her cup...."

"Nothing lethal? that would just complicate and compound"

He pouts.

"Nothing lethal THIS time... anyway, " she says "Why not something to make her terrible at battle throw her off the more she gets a work out... and guarentees her loss? AND with it, one part of a two part poison? Then all the time in the world later?"

She tries to work with her man, and realizes he needs some outlets for his less than social attitudes

"Mmmmm...." He considers it with interest. "Bit of a challenge but... I like the idea."

"I thought you might... "

A roguish grin. "I have permission, then?"

"Well, I think the Rivervalers might be trying to rescue too, but then I figured that news might just encourage you"

"Ooooo.... pay my debt AND beat them to the punch here." His eye blazes.

"One day I hope to arouse you as quickly as news of foiling trolls does." melodramatic sigh

The boggan puts his hand on her knee. "You know you do." Warmly.

A pleased smile, "I take it you're glad I kept an eye on things? Yes, this is me insisting on pats and praise."

"Well, I wanted to say before the interrogation started but it seemed you had an agenda and I let you have your way...." he rubs her knee in circles ".... but yes. I am very glad. Tell me of the Club and our little flame. And....." he glances past her to the door ".... who were they?"

"Oh fine yes I can be ..insistent" she admits and kisses him lightly "Our club is doing just wonderful, thank you. Caesar has been a big help. Teensy isn't officially a guard, but troll blood and all, she's helped. ..mostly she cooks.... oh, we're in the running for a cuillinary award... 'best authentic menu' I didn't know that was a thing"

William brightens with interest. "We are? Excellent."

"Apparently while the cooks..pardon me, chefs, get much praise, a lot goes to you for the management of it. I had no idea your gift for organization of menus would be a contest. I suspect boggans have infiltrated yet another prize awarding establishment"

A sly smile.

"We -do- have an advantage." He admits.

"Well, you use it well" She smiles and strokes his ear, "And you deserve a few awards"

"The -Club- does." He compromises. "I prefer to remain one of the faceless, harmless ones. You know that." His rubbing hand has moved on from her knee.

"You don't seem harmless to me" A purr as she shifts position on him, advancing, "And I like your face."

A grin that shows teeth. "You know more than anyone else about me, so it makes sense I would not appear harmless. I will point out your own natural gifts have taught me quite a bit."

"Moi? Sir, are you accusing me of corrupting a boggan? my word." pearl clutch impression

"Delightfully, yes." Still grinning, he leans in and gnaws lightly on where the pearls would be.

That illicits.. a response, pleased sounds to say the least.

By the time he leans back, he has both arms around her somehow.

"Show me you missed me" her voice is breathy, eyes shining...

"More than once, perhaps." He promises darkly, leaning in again to ease her back onto the couch.

Putty in his hands, playful putty at that....

"You realize she could be watching at anytime?" Adelaide says.

"I am aware," Gerd answers, looking at the cards she has.

"Thank you for humoring me," the still a childling says to just a wilder, "After your togail I feared we might drift apart as your interests changed...and you've been... more than tolerable"

Gerd nods, her bandanna in place despite the gesture, "Well, no doubt yours will be soon. Honestly, I regret the entire thing... my aunt and uncle both ended up in a tiff as I explained because of it. Adults are so hard to manage. And this game is a guilty pleasure for you, who am I to deny you. Any 8s?"

"Go fish," Adelaide says "Anyway, why not have Sir Vali move here then? You're a wilder now...and the Countess would adore having him."

"after the work I just did to patch things up? No way," Gerd says, "Even if it would allow me a bigger room. Why don't you see if the countess will release Thane Tiffany and transfer her up Teaneck or something?"
