"I've never seen their like before." She drops a tooth in the old woman's palm.

BIC: The glow flows and...

"Oh my... oh I knew I liked you" The woman smiles, looking radiant. Her eyes sparkling with shining blue, she's glowing a bit.

She's a sidhe kinian!

Dagmar squints. "...Sidhe kin? Hello, ma'am. I'm Dagmar."

Beauty did not translate really, but there is a spark to her short of that "Greetings, Dagmar, knight of the something by the looks of it...oh Gwydion, how nice. Tell me? Does Chieftain Brekke still rule?"

"Oh, yes'm." A nod. "To all of it."

"Oh how nice...yes, she was a worthy heir" The woman natters

She certainly shows sidhe liike signs, a natural grace, not like agile, like the way she flows now that she's enchanted.

"Heir? Who was before her?"

"Oh that's a story, my dear. WOuld you like to hear of the Bergen that was? The place before the Autumnsbane? "

"Hasn't he been around for, like, thirty years?"

"Yes" The old woman's eyes sparkle.

Then "Thirty? Oh my goodness..."

"Well, longer than I've been alive, at least."

"Hard to tell with changelings, but some kinian live a long life too. Now, where was I.... would you like to hear of a Rivervale less green, where the sprawl of cities seemed ready to swallow the gardens? The land before Brekke Shacklebreaker, the Greencloaked, came to spread her wood lore among us?"

Her eye go wider. "Oh..."

"Oh, there are reasons a man named Autumnsbane was summoned and given these lands.... reasons official? And reasons that even the current rulers do not know..." The woman says

"Yeah? You want to see the lodge? I bet Chief might want to know, too.."

"Oh no, that's not how one captures a fae... take the teeth to the Chieftain, in tribute. ANd I will tell you the story when you return in three days. When you will enchant me again" a wily look to the woman "In the old times, milk was left out, but in your case, more lemonade?"

"It is really good lemonade..."

"Thank you" she says pleased

"Three nights from now, drop by, and I'll tell you the story. Now, if you will forgive? I'm going to stare at my flowers with the eyes of the dreaming again. I rforgot how p;retty they can be"

"Oh, the nevers will probably come when the lightning bugs come out... so that's worth a watch."

"Yes, it is" The old woman says gaping out the window, "Stay if you like, but you'll not get that story out of me for three days. I am no eshu but Sharirizad's lessons are good to heed"

"Well... you want company or not? I don't mind just sitting and watching some."

"In that case, Dagmar, I would love some company, and while I won't tell you THAT Story, I might tell you a few others. Did you know...when I was VERY young, I was rescued by two knights? WHo then fought over who got to say they rescued me?" She sighs "Didn't end as romanticly for me as I hoped.... they sparred, got worked up, and fell in love with each other. I had to walk down the rest of the tower by myself."

"Fairy folk" A chuckle

Dag laughs at that. "Sounds about right."

"Now once I did meet a troll who was cursed that if he wasn't under a bridge every few hours, he would start to go limp. I saved him! Well, taught him a work around"

"How terrible! How did you fix it?"

"I told him that Bridge was also a musical term ... so ... as long as he sang every hour or so... he could wander as he willed" A beaming smile

"Ha! That's clever!"

Then... a nudge and a point as a Never tries to sneak up on a firefly.

And the old woman's face breaks into a smile and she looks almost like a child in how much delight she gets from it.

Dagmar gets to watch the world through an old kinain's eyes for a bit. It's.. a very enchanting view.
