"A bean bag is not furniture."

"You sit on it" he says "or lay... it's..furniture, just soft.. it's comfortable"

"It may live in thy bedroom."

"What?" A confused look "I thought we were sharing a bedroom and using the other area for studio space and library nook?"

"I thought we were each having a bedroom? Your studio space would be.... here, aye?" She gestures.

"Well, what's the point of moving intogether if we can't be...y'klnow, together"

"We can be, of course! But you will have your room, and I will have mine, for when we need space..."

"And, apparently, for thy beanbag."

"oh" A bit disappointed as the separate rooms then hands on hip "You don't keep a beanbag int the bedroom, that's redundant"

"More about separate bedrooms I guess than... I don't know I thought.. I mean, most young couples moving intogether don't do that.. the beanbag is just ..."A sheepish look "Troll stubbornness I guess. And confusion, you never complained about it before. WHy didn't you tell me you hated it?"

"I don't hate it. I just... it's yours, aye? And it can be in your space."

"I... " She frowns. "if we have but one bedroom, where would be my space? And thine?"

"The alone-space."

"I..." When she puts it that way, he sighs "You need that, huh?"

"Don't you?"

"I guess, I didn't think of things aas 'this is my room' and that is 'your room' and down below Miriam and Jacob. I thought of it as more of this is our half?"

"Aye! This is ours, together!" She reaches for his hands, happy.

He looks confused, but her happiness makes him happy "Buuttt?" A smile

"And you shall be right there... I could simply go to you, whenever I wished... you could come to me..."

"No Doyle, no parents, we'd be here, together..."

"Mmm you are pretty perssuasive" He admits and kisses her hands taking them up

"And you can have your beanbag and that Hawkeyes poster..."

"Wait, the hawkeye's poster isn't allowed anywhere but my bedroom?" He arches a brow, "Zaaaaraaa. You mean to tell me there will be NO METS stuff save in your bedroom?"

She purses her lips. "Well, mayhaps aside from the cookie jar..."

"If Mets stuff gets out in the open, so does the hawkeyes stuff. I'm not even that big a sports fan but you'd made it a matter of principle"

"The Mets are not just a matter of sports. You don't even like basketball that much..."

"I don't, but fair is fair" he says

"Fine. But the poster needs a frame, and must needs not be just taped to the bare wall."

"Of course" He agrees, "Or I can use something besides the poster to demonstrate hawkeye pride, something not as tacky as a poster"

"That... seems acceptable, aye."

A kiss, then "Okay, and, am I reading things right that you kind of wanted new..or at least selectively chosen furniture in as many rooms up here as possible?"

"I would like the common area to be... nice, aye? Mayhaps we could have guests, and they could say how pretty it was..."

"Are you thinking more Victorian, Edwardian, or Georgian? Or perhaps something more continental?"

"Mmm... influenced by those, aye. Something artistic, bohemian..."

"Something of thee, and of me. Your art, I would hope..."

"I thought... plants, aye? Nightshade and my venus fly trap and spider plants... and a box of herbs in the kitchen window... oh, and candles..."

"Of course, Candles" He agrees completely, "I hadn't thought of the herbs but that would be wonderful"

"Maybe some skulls... Mama never approved of using bones for decor..."

"Fine by me, oh, that reminds me, Vashti found something, wants to buy it for us if we like it...for the apartment" he says and reachees for his phone "She thought about surprising you but in this case..."
