He smiles smuggly. "Think of what a good example you'll set for Caesar."

"ooooo you're..." A snort , her nostrils flaring delightfully "You know what a sucker I am for making sure my boy is okay. FINE.. I'll try to see what leads I can find"

"How can I help?" With an affectionate smile.

"See what the boggan network and your own senses tell me about individuals"

He nods. "Capital idea." He stretches up to kiss her langorously.

And she returns it, then nips his lip just a little.

"Oo." In response, and he reaches up to hold her horns, bring8ng her close for another kiss.

Yup..she's going to be a bit fierce, teach him a lesson for being so smug...yeah, that'll teach him. And as he grips her horns and pulls her close for another she makes a low sultry growl in her throat and the two twist and ...well, it's not hard to guess where this is going.

.... right onto the floor and he is happily taught a lesson.

CC is complying, but being CC, she is complying in a rebellious way. It takes William only a little time to realize this. But every possible satyr seems to be 'flawed' in someway that he's not sure should be disqualifying.

"Ugh, too cocky.." "Too shy"... "too narrowminded" "Too lovey dovey" Swiping left as it were

"You could bring him down. You could encourage her." He pauses. "Callidora is there -any- such thing as a narrow-minded-satyr? Seriously!?!?!"

"Well, clearly there is or I woudln't have rejected him" A sniff then "Ugh, this one is too open minded" Swipe left.

"You can open one, close the other, and Da'an help me, Callidora, you can sour the lovey-dovey one and if you don't I will!!!"

"Pfft, why burn our precious energy?"

He blinks at her. "Dearest, you have a...." He doesn't say it. "Source. Many do not."

"Yes, nice for me" Then she swipes "Ugh, too ugly. " Swipe left "That one used the 'wasssup?' text from the 90s? SO swipe" Swipe left "This one doesn't like jazz? Heathen!" swipe left

William face-palms.

Then she pauses. And wrinkles her nose suspiciously.

"Dearest..... " A muffled attempt at sanity. He is not watching her, still buried.

"I...well..." She eyes someone on a profile "uhm.. I might have found ..someone I can't complain about"

"Oh?"

"Oh" She says as she looks over the chimerical ap and shows an image, more like a drawing than a picture (Tech tends to act funny with some glamour no matter what the nockers protest) of a dark skinned man with a saxophone, still in his 20s. HIs profile reads "Prefer Jazz to Rap/Most Hip hop, but I keep an open mind. Favorite Authors: Mark Twain, Voltaire, and Hemmingway...."

there's more but he's different enough from CC to be interesting, but enough common interests they could probably find common ground.

"Do you know him?" Gently.

"No, but I recognzie the last name. I knew his mother" A surprised look, "She was kinian, great tempo. "

"Oh?" Gently encouraging.

"Yes, she was a kind woman too. I only knew her a month ... had to keep moving back then. Guess one of her children went full satyr. Good for her." Her thumb wavers "oh he'll probably make me feel old" and she looks ready to swipe left and reject

He puts a hand on hers. "Callidora....."

"Fine..I'll put him up on the semi finals and meet him" Petulantly resigned

"You will meet him." Specified.

"Do I bully you to go yakking with all sorts of boggans in your..boggan collectives or warrens or whatever it is boggans have?"

"No." Amused.

"Good that you noticed," She sighs and moves on "Want me to look for some exceptionally tall satyress who dyes her hair blue?"

"Mmmm.... .not for me. I've had my chances with satyresses, and trolls."

A smile at that, "Fine... so this girl is out? " An image of a satyress with blue hair, tall too.

He regards it with appreciation... "If you wish."

"Well, I'll swipe 3 to meet. For now. " Swipe right for her "So why not, whoever Kalista Hornshield is, I'll met her"

"There, see. I'm trying." then "And while I don't expect a cookie, a martini would be nice"

"Hmph." But he delivers the requested drink.

"Thank you," She goes back to sorting.

He watches glumly.

Without looking at him "Why the glum face?"

"Dearest. One might have the impression you are avoiding things."

"If it does, it's only because I am"

He wants to force it... but he does not.

"Hmph"

"I'm feeling sulky and ...acting childish" A sigh "And I'm sorry. I know it will help Caesar, and I know you think I'm silly for worrying about us losing a connection if I spend too much time around a trago. I just.. everything's so GOOD now"
